“It's wonderful when a place, like Dharma Bums Restaurant Bar, gets all the elements right – friendly, personable service, creative delicious vegan food - ginger dressing on salad was delish, total yum fig tacos & Thai street fries were so tasty we finished the large bowl of them. Plus, we lucked out being there on Open Mike Night (Wednesdays). We enjoyed listening to entertaining local talent which added to a memorable evening.“

“I DJ'd a wedding there this evening and it was absolutely phenomenal. The grounds and the building were beautiful, the staff was helpful, experienced and had great energy, the food was exceptional, and everyone truly had the best time! “Very nice anniversary evening at the inn. We had not been there in many years. There have been a few different owners in the recent past but it still feels familiar. Different but familiar which I think is great. My friend is running the place now and seems to have put together a great team and some very nice dishes. Just last week we were texting about the inn and the menu and I mentioned the famous tomato bisque that the inn used to serve. Well not even 10 days later it’s back in the menu, which I think will be a welcome surprise to the local crowd. We are looking forward to returning.“

“I cannot recommend this venue enough. The property is absolutely breathtaking, and the Silo and Grand Ballroom are stunning. We got married outside near the gazebo and had our reception in the Silo and every guest I talked to mentioned how beautiful the Farmhouse is. The Silo is by far the most unique and beautiful room I’ve been in for an event. Most importantly, everyone kept talking about how delicious the food was! Our guests raved about the cocktail hors d'oeuvres and their dinners.

As a bride, I thoroughly enjoyed working with the event planning team and day-of staff. Gina and Liz were an absolute pleasure working with. They were so helpful in answering my questions, giving advice, and making sure the day was a success. My bridal attendants were fabulous too. Myrna made sure everyone got what they needed in the morning, that everyone was fed, and that the mimosas were flowing. Lorraine was a godsend for the afternoon. She was by my side throughout photos, cocktail hour, and the reception and helped wherever she was needed. I need a Lorraine in my day-to-day life. Finally, Monique was amazing and went out of her way to make sure everyone got what they needed. She also took special care of my grandmother and made sure she got a drink when she needed one and tried every cocktail hour dish.

All in all, the Farmhouse was the perfect place to get married. Several of our guests said that our wedding was the best wedding they have ever been to as the food, the staff, and venue were fantastic. I would choose the Farmhouse over and over again.“

“What an amazing stay! The bed and pillows were perfectly comfortable, ensuring a restful night. Dinner at the Dog & Deer Tavern was a highlight, the steak frites were excellent. I also enjoyed a beer on the heated back patio, with its serene waterfall creating the perfect atmosphere after a long day. Almost forgot to mention breakfast across the street at their sister location Stockton Market. I recommend The Local breakfast sandwich.

“This place is a beautiful warming welcoming restaurant, the food taste amazing, we came across Milford house as we were staying across the Delaware river bridge at the Bridgeton house, they recommend this place, and it was gorgeous food, nice warm comforting fire place, romantic settings, the fish and chips my husband had were really good, the fish is definitely the best he’s tasted since we moved to PA from the UK, I had the crab! And it was amazing and a good portion, the cocktails we had were also tasty , definitely we go back to Milford house for sure.“

“still old school, attempting to place a phone order at Capri has grown from difficult to impossible nowadays. Attempted to order a chicken Caesar pizza and the counter person on the phone does not apparently speak any or much English. I can see why they suggest using online ordering.“
