Visited for the first time on 6/25/2026; Barcelona's is old-school tavern style pizza established in 1933; this is the style of pizza I remember growing up on in North Jersey. Razor thin, charred crust and gooey cheese sliding across the pie with a delicious sauce tying it all together. I went for a half meatball, half plain cheese. After starting with the mussels marinara (amazing, especially with the fresh bread) there was enough for two hungry guys to take some leftovers...

The restaurant is truly a time capsule from the 70s and 80s which I loved it. The service was outstanding. The food is all made from scratch. Their pizza is the best round in my opinion meatball Parm hero was very good. I would highly recommend this place.

My father in law grew up in Garfield and Barcelonas was his favorite place. He created many memories there as a young person and then with his adult sons. Unfortunately, he passed this past week. Didn't give it a second thought but to have the repass here. Was not disappointed. The waitress was absolutely on point. She hustled and accommodated all of our guests. The food.......best eggplant parm. Antipasti on point. Just everything was amazing. They took a large burden off...
