Food was mediocre and very disappointing. When we walked in on time for our reservation we were 4 instead of 5. We were scolded that we should have called ahead to let her know. The waitress pulled apart our table which made no sense. It was not busy and tables were available right up until we left. One of us just asked if they had bread. Our server rudely said yes and she would get it and told us that bread is very expensive you know. We were good customers until last night....
Had a great late lunch at DPS Tavern in Garfield, NJ with my husband and it did not disappoint! We ordered a few appetizers and everything was absolutely amazing—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly done. The service was excellent, super attentive and friendly, which made the experience even better. The atmosphere is lovely and welcoming, and the people there were just great overall. We’ll definitely be going back!
