Was in Jersey for a bachelor party weekend. We went to dinner at Goodfellas. I must say the food was spectacular. The service was unbelievable. I felt like I was a kid back in my Italian grandparents house. Like family. The atmosphere was great especially if you're a fan of The Goodfellas movie. Definitely be back if I'm in the area again.
Live music was fun. Super cold air blowing on food. Long wait for service but very nice people. Got peppers were over the top inedible hot . Gluten free pasta was mushy and terrible. Mussels were chewy. Salad and sauce were delicious. Cocktails (martinis) lacked a good shake / high quality mixers. Like a cosmo should be light pink and foamy not red and clear. Tiramisu was excellent. Nostalgic type of place seemed to be many locals and long time customers who pick their own favorite...
From the moment we walked through the door, we were made to feel like family. The food was outstanding. The service was out of this world. They were very detailed oriented right down to clearing the crumbs on the table when clearing the table. If in the area definitely a restaurant to check out!
