The shrimply the best tacos, which was originally on a tostada last summer, was just as amazing, but didn’t sit as heavy as a tostada. Love the move to a light tortilla. The Mexi-Avo toast was so filling and the flavors melted together so nicely. Don’t forget the decor inside is so cozy, boho/havana vibe and perfect for a date or girl’s brunch. 10/10“

“Nice food and good customer service, only parking is hard to find.Had dinner food quality and quantity both were good.Resturant is small in size and has only 4 booth that I have seen.Nice and warm atmosphere inside. Open sitting arrangement outside as well. If all 4 booths are occupied then you have to wait and waiting area has only 1 couple seat, more than 2 persons have to wait outside.“

Whether we get take out or dine in, the staff is extremely friendly, the food is fresh and flavorful, the music is calming jazz and the booths are so comfortable. “I took my fiance here this past weekend and we had a great time. We got to pick which vegetables, meats, tofu we liked, which were all fresh. And then we pick the broth and pay. The Mala Tang in the end was delicious. The broth was very flavorful and aromatic and the meats, vegetables and tofu tasted superb!“

Our waitress, Marissa, was personable and helpful; she was taking care of us very well. The 1-star for atmosphere was because the OWNER came to our table and asked if we wanted more coffee. I declined, but my friend accepted. I swear she did this just to make him go away as Marissa had offered us coffee moments before and she'd declined. THEN WE OVERHEAR the manager giving Marissa a hard time because we ACCEPTED COFFEE. His assumption was that she had not been attending to us instead of understanding that women know that the male ego has a hard time with the word NO. Not only should management not be giving a good waitress a hard time, they certainly should not do it where customers can hear. Gross!“

“My wife and I have been patrons and huge fans of Chez Catherine for nearly 30 years. Last Friday, we happily celebrated our 39th anniversary there with another very fine lunch. It's always a pleasure to be greeted like old friends by owner Stephane Bocket and seated at what we think is the best table in the tastefully decorated, elegant restaurant. We both chose the prix fixe menu. For starters, my wife had the always terrific moules and I a lovely mixed salad. We both chose beef bourguignons for our main course and asked Stephane to suggest wine from the by-the-glass list.
