“I love coming to Wasai Bistro whenever I’m visiting the east coast. I’ve followed Chef Nelson since his days at Aozora and Wabi Sabi. His food quality, menu options, and value are unmatched in the area. Once you try his food you will understand why he has so many repeat diners. I highly recommend the Mes Reves Roll, Uni and bone marrow ramen, Miso glazed sea bass entree and salmon lover entree but it’s very hard to go wrong with anything Chef Nelson serves. Parking is street parking only but honestly I’ve always had a very easy time finding a spot. BYOB so you can drink what you love.“

“I just had my son’s 21’st surprise party over the weekend , and it was amazing! They allowed me to go in the morning and decorate, they help me to do in fact, the food was delicious as always and the service was perfect , we even had live music as a surprise as well and my son and guest where all happy ! Definitely coming back !“

“Nothing beats enjoying the sushi at the restaurant but due to the covid pandemic and with an abundance of caution for safety the restaurant is takeout only. Regardless, Mr. Bin's is our "go-to" sushi place. We routinely travel from Union to Cranford because it's that good! The freshness is evident with every bite. The presentation of the sushi is perfect. I miss hanging with Mr. Bin at the restaurant and looking forward that once again. Especially his "special" selections that he surprises me with.“

“The food was INCREDIBLE!! I had the burger with jalapeños and a creamy sauce in it, some tots and a cherry cola So good!! I ordered online but decided to sit down and eat. “Hosted my husband’s birthday party here and it was the perfect space for the casual gathering. Pete was extremely kind, helpful and accommodating in helping me plan and host the party. The bartender, Sam, was also great! Would highly recommend!

“A very nice place grab a bite or belly up to the bar .I mean to start there's tutles everywhere and who doesn't love turtles?
From entry to exit everyone was super friendly and professional. We sat in backroom and they accommodated our request to turn on golf. Ordered some beers ( guess yall dont know what a lime wash is but no bother)
Got some calamari to start and praise be they had tentacles...onto the entrees the other two got fish and chips which im told was awesome other than one of them is a bumpkin and compared it to catfish..I had the pear and goat cheese salad with the flank steak absolutely perfect 👌.“

“Exactly what you would picture a great bar to be! The old classic rustic place with all the classic bottles and drinks as well as cute seasonal twist. Was there for the postseason baseball game and football games! Great choice of music today!“
