“I love coming to Wasai Bistro whenever I’m visiting the east coast. I’ve followed Chef Nelson since his days at Aozora and Wabi Sabi. His food quality, menu options, and value are unmatched in the area. Once you try his food you will understand why he has so many repeat diners. I highly recommend the Mes Reves Roll, Uni and bone marrow ramen, Miso glazed sea bass entree and salmon lover entree but it’s very hard to go wrong with anything Chef Nelson serves. Parking is street parking only but honestly I’ve always had a very easy time finding a spot. BYOB so you can drink what you love.“

“Phenomenal! Sushi was amazing! Spicy Tuna was a huge hit at the table and the staff was so kind. We were gifted warm hand towels at the beginning of the dinner and the place was very evenly spaced out. No sitting on top of each other even though the place seemed small. I highly recommend the sushi platter for two and the miso soup.“

“I just had my son’s 21’st surprise party over the weekend , and it was amazing! They allowed me to go in the morning and decorate, they help me to do in fact, the food was delicious as always and the service was perfect , we even had live music as a surprise as well and my son and guest where all happy ! “Nothing beats enjoying the sushi at the restaurant but due to the covid pandemic and with an abundance of caution for safety the restaurant is takeout only. Regardless, Mr. Bin's is our "go-to" sushi place. We routinely travel from Union to Cranford because it's that good! The freshness is evident with every bite. The presentation of the sushi is perfect. I miss hanging with Mr. Bin at the restaurant and looking forward that once again. Especially his "special" selections that he surprises me with.“

“Yale Street Brewery is super cool. I love everything about this place. The coffee is extremely flavorful. The barista has a huge personality and style to match. This is the first time I saw a custom crafted brewed drink shaken just like a martini. When you are truly in love with coffee, it’s exciting to find something new and wonderful. This is a must stop destination for coffee, addicts like myself. I went out of my way to drive a couple of towns just to try this place out. You should too. First, the food is incredibly delicious. I am a big fan of this place because I have celiac disease and cannot eat gluten. They have a separate gluten-free menu, and it is also very tasty, which is very important for people like me.
They have the most delicious and very affordable French fries. They are always fresh, hot, and you can taste that the oil is fresh and the products are fresh too.
There was also a situation when I placed an order and one of the items was not available gluten-free. They called me, explained everything, and offered to replace it or give me a refund. They refunded me without any problems.
The service is incredibly pleasant. The staff is very attentive, friendly, and caring, and it always leaves a very good impression.
Thank you so much to the kitchen and the staff for being so wonderful. The owner of this place either is very lucky to have such a team or did a great job creating such a great place, because good food and good people are the most important things.“

“The food is good and the prices are fair, it can get crowded and parking (that's just the area not their fault) can be annoying on busy days as they are downtown. The service is usually pretty good. What really sells this place is the outside, it's fantastic, nice fire pit area, stuff for the kids and kids can run around the open area which is great with good weather.“
