“Last night, for my birthday, we had what I have to call a perfect, and perfectly delicious meal. You can’t take a picture of an experience, but if there were a way, we would have tried. My fettuccine Bolognese was a detailed joy, yielding a world of varied delights in every bite. Even the radicchio and endive salad… one of those textured, flavorful events where you close your eyes and savor every each mouthful. I could go on and on… but I’m still busy savoring. Gorgeous setting, roomy comfort, delightful servers and employees… and the bank does not break. You’d pay 100 or 150% more in the city to even come close.”

“The boterkoek is to die for! I bought a loaf of Dutch rye bread and 3 boxes of De Ruijter sprinkles for the bread! I ordered $80 worth of baked goods and chocolates & bread and spices and my family and I will DEFINITELY be coming back! We travelled 5 & 1/2 hours to come here and we will be coming back before the Summer to stock back up 🩷 This is officially my favourite Dutch bakery since the one in my home country closed down years ago when I was a little girl 🥺🩷”

“Barrel 28 is a wonderful place to have an event in their private room. We recently had our daughters bridal shower there. Everyone raved about the food, which was wonderful. “On Friday 4/26/24 my husband and I had a rehearsal dinner for our son and daughter in law at Milano's. We had 32 people at the restaurant. The service was fantastic. The amount of food was crazy. The restaurant met all our needs. We would highly recommend Milano's. It was a great night before the wedding at Mountain Creek.”

“Found by accident. I was next door at Tony’s Italian Restaurant and Pizzaria having lunch. Saw Li Bre next door and was intrigued. We tried the salted caramel cup. It was light, not crazy sweet and all around delightful. My compliments to the chef!”

“This place is delicious! Our server was kind and quick and gave us recommendations on the menu. The pickled chicken sandwich was perfection! Perfectly crispy, full of flavor, generous portion. The cheese steaks were also delicious. We didn't see cheese steaks on the menu photos on Google, but we called and asked because that's what we were searching for. They have a separate menu for cheese steaks and I forgot to take a photo to add to Google, hopefully they add one soon.

We also ordered milkshakes, and we appreciated that they used real strawberry ice cream in their shake instead of strawberry-flavored syrup.

The building is cute and seems freshly updated. I would come here again and again if it wasn't 2 hours away from me! Definitely a great stop on our trip.”
