“Once in a lifetime” experience, though we’ll be back. Service was great. Stacy and Rob took great care of us. Food was incredible. Wine was paired perfectly. Views were impeccable. Great!
Last night we did the 7-course chef’s tasting menu with wine pairing at Restaurant Latour at Crystal Springs Resort. In my opinion, this is easily one of the best restaurants in Sussex County.
The wine pairings were very well done and thoughtfully matched to each course. You could tell a lot of effort went into balancing the flavors and overall experience. Some dishes were outstanding and really memorable, while others were good but did not have the same wow factor.

Restaurant Latour provides a memorable fine dining experience with attentive service and delicious food. The staff make guests feel welcome and special. The menu is flexible, with substitutions available. Dishes like the oxtail and chocolate mousse are highly recommended, along with the signature scallop udon. The presentation of the food is excellent, and the ambiance adds to the overall atmosphere. Guests can enjoy unique dishes such as the two-tone kaluga caviar. The wine pairing is exceptional, and the bread basket, especially the black garlic, is a highlight. The resturant itself is a smaller intimate space. The entire western wall of the dining room is glass so you can see the sunset over the mountian while you eat dinner. The menu is set at either a 3 or 7 course chef's tasting menu. Every dish outside of dessert featured a different protein and everything was portioned so that you could enjoy the entire meal. In addition to the courses, the meal included an aperitif, a bread and butter selection, and housemade chocolates after dessert. The service sets the standard for five star dining. There is an entire team of professionals serving you. Every course is delivered and explained. The table is cleared, cleaned and reset for every course. The (soon to be master) sommelier will answer any and all questions you have about wine. The food was excellent. The flavors were like a flower blossoming in my mouth, the service was impeccable. The staff were so sweet and so genuinely nice.
