“Hamburg bagels are the absolute best in all of Northern NJ! We are bagel connoisseurs and they are the best since our days in Wayne, NJ Sam’s to be particular. The owner is hands on and runs a tight ship with great organization and the most delicious variety of bagels. We make a 20 minute trek there for Christmas morning bagels and to satisfy our need for bagels throughout the year. You need to get there early Christmas eve morning and this morning we had a delightful experience with Medi a very patient and polite man. I highly recommend Hamburg Bagels for the most delectable variety of bagels and breakfast sandwiches. A black diamond/five star experience!”

“We just had Cupcake Cafe do a custom dinosaur cake and dinosaur cupcakes for my daughter's fourth birthday party. I actually had another baker lined who went MIA on me at the last minute and the owner of Cupcake Cafe was able to swoop in and save the day. The cake and cupcakes were equally delicious and everyone kept commenting on them at the party. We will 100 percent be using Cupcake Cafe for all of our baked goods needs moving forward! The owner was also a pleasure to deal with. Five stars!”

“TLDR: Top tier brisket. Nearly as good as Texas brisket and certainly best I have had in New Jersey thus far. The hidden restaurant in the middle of a garden is so quaint and peaceful, I recommend going for lunch or a cozy dinner. View of the surrounding hills is also amazing.

Quality of Food: I had no complaints about the food. The garden salad was refreshing and did not lack in its flavor. The brisket was AMAZING. If you look at my other reviews, you will find I am originally from the south and have frequented a few BBQ places in New Jersey, all of which have fallen short of what I have come to find as quality BBQ. This. Did. Not. Disappoint. The brisket was slightly marbled and melted in your mouth. I can only imagine the quality of the Rib Steak if the brisket was top notch. The cornbread was the only thing I could say was standard taste and quality.

Quality of Service: It was neither over-the top nor mediocre service. Seemed like a decent amount of young adults were waiting on tables. We stopped in for a quick bite before heading to a festival, but we had no issues getting our order taken, food delivered and check processed quickly.

Environment & Ambiance: Can't be compared to the other locations at the resort. The garden by itself is adorable and makes you feel like you're in a storybook. Looking out towards the hills provides a feeling of awe. The outside ambiance and cute tables and chairs makes you feel like you're joining Alice at a tea party.

Pricing and Concerns: It's certainly not cheap if you are ordering their higher priced options. However, that being said, it is most definitely worth every penny. Not to mention you're at a resort, so what would you expect besides expensive dishes? For a party of two you can keep it under $$$. Add drinks or an extra person and you're going over. No other concerns to note.

“The boterkoek is to die for! I bought a loaf of Dutch rye bread and 3 boxes of De Ruijter sprinkles for the bread! I ordered $80 worth of baked goods and chocolates & bread and spices and my family and I will DEFINITELY be coming back! “I come to this jersey mikes very often since I work really close. I’d say I’m there at least once a week. The staff is always so friendly and welcoming and I’m always greeted with smiles and happy faces. I get jersey mikes so often the staff has memorized my order. I’m always asked how my day at work is going along with many other great conversations. The staff works so hard and so well together it always makes my day when I walk in for lunch and the energy in the room is so incredibly positive!! Along with having the best tasting sandwiches!!”
