“Loved this cute little place!!! My daughter and I were out and about, and wanted to get some coffee, but not from the regular “chain” coffee shop, so after a quick search, we headed to Metuchen. We were lucky enough to get parking right outside, and walked in to be pleasantly surprised by the esthetic vibe. Everything was super clean, and we were greeted right away by the super friendly employee. My daughter ordered a cappuccino and I got iced coffee. We also got a cheese and pesto savory pastry and a passion fruit and coconut tres leches dessert. Everything was delicious!!!!! Thanks for the enjoyable experience. We will definitely return.“

“Make no mistake, this is 5-star pizza. Get a few “personal” pizzas for variety: a cheese, a white, and maybe a mushroom or pepperoni - well done. Absolutely the best in Somerset area. If you stop there for lunch, their slices are quite big, you only need 1. And the chicken fingers are a MUST. We just love Amici’s. I recommend calling them directly and pick up, or ask for delivery. The owners are just great people. ?“

The tandoori chicken was cooked perfectly—tender and full of flavor—and it paired wonderfully with the rest of the pizza. It's a genuinely delicious and unique pie that I'd recommend to anyone.

Unfortunately, the wings didn't quite live up to the same standard. They were a bit bland and lacked the bold seasoning I was hoping for. While the pizza was a 5-star experience, the disappointing wings brought my overall rating down a bit. I'd definitely come back for that pizza, but I'd probably skip the wings next time.“

“my review is for the amazing pepperoni slice I just grabbed for lunch. it had a crispy, thin crust with no flop. the sauce was a nice balance of sweet and tangy. the cheese was not excessive, and the pepperoni wasn’t too greasy. I added pepper flakes and oregano because that’s how I like my pizza, but it would be perfectly delicious without it.“

“Loved their lunch box with chicken teriyaki. Wife had several rolls, and liked all of them. Became our favorite Asian restaurant in Bernards/Warren area. It may be crowded during the evening hours. Recommend to order take out rather than waiting to be seated.“

The Arancine (rice balls) are excellent. Good quiche and great pastries. The owner is very nice and lived in Sicily.
I bought some bread, that I found to be excellent.
Street parking, about 6 tables for 2 and good service.“

I contacted them about a week and a half before my party, super nervous that I was too close and they wouldn’t be able to do it. They excitedly took my order and shared how much they loved the idea for my Brazilian carnival themed birthday. Not only did they make me feel super confident that they would execute my idea perfectly, but they guaranteed that they’d be able to get it done on time. I am super grateful to Bobby the baker and the team over at Bovelas for adding such a special and personalized aspect to my party that was literally the cherry on top of the cake ! lol. Everyone loved my cake and my cupcakes and I’m still here eating my cake two days post party.“
