The Bait Box Restaurant in Greenwich, NJ checks all those boxes and more. Located deep in Cumberland County along the Cohansey River, the only thing I regret about the hour drive was that we hadn't discovered this place sooner. They've only just opened for the season, so they're still operating on a limited menu, but the offerings we tried were all excellent! The New England clam chowder was chock full of clams and well seasoned, my husband enjoyed his smashburger with bacon jam, and my coconut shrimp tacos were some of the best I've ever had. Extra points to the chef for using watermelon radishes! It was modestly full for dinner tonight, but from what we heard it gets VERY crowded in the warmer months! They have bars outside, live bands, plenty of boat slips for which to dock (in case you want to arrive by water) and they're extremely dog friendly! Did we just become best friends?! Seriously, this might have been our first visit to the Bait Box - but it will absolutely not be our last!”

“Been a customer since I moved to Gibbstown. I go there so often the owners recognize me when I call. Food is great and prices are reasonable. They skimp you a bit on sauces so make sure you ask for extra. In my opinion easily the most reliable Chinese place to get some good ”

On a previous visit ordered pancakes with blueberries, the batter was raw on the inside. On this visit I decided to try pancakes again, was disappointed. After reading a few reviews. We decided to go check this place out. I highly recommend this place. For authentic made to order delicious food. Service was 2 thumbs up. The place was welcoming. A little disappointed there were no chicken tamales for my youngest son. He got chicken tacos instead. “I've been getting General Tso's chicken here every week for a long time and it's always good. The chicken fried rice is also very good with big slices of tender chicken. The white rice is fluffy,a little sticky with a good chew, just how I like.”
