“Our choices were guided by past experiences: Lula Fritas (calamares), Bolinos de Bacaulau (top item on appetizer menu. Not with that name.), Salade Via Brasil (enough protein in the lula and bolinos), Bobo de Camaraoe. (Of course, Selecta Silver for dessert). Great service. Ambience.“

“Nossa que delícia! The buffet is full of fresh options with variety. Super healthy and flavorful food. They had mousse de Maracuja—my favorite!! The mandioca was nice and crispy. Just perfection. The farinha was delicious. Customer service was great and the place was so clean. I’ll be coming back to sit down soon. A hidden gem!! I feel like I’m back in Brazil!“

“It was such a pleasure to talk with the servers in Portuguese and in Spanish and in English. They were very helpful and knowledgeable. My friends who came with me, loved the buffet as I do . There is such a variety. I was happy to be there . I did not feel rushed. It was a great lunch . And the coffee was very delicious.“

“No me canso de ir a este rest, el k esta en la 60th en West New York. He llevado a mi familia y amigos porque me encanta. Lo recomiendo 100%. No habido ni una sola queja desde que lo descubri cerca de mi casa. Pequeño pero con un gran servicio. Empleados amigables, lugar super limpio y una atmosfera como si estuvieras en casa. Lo mismo para comer alli que para delivery. El manager esta haciendo tremendo trabajo. “Point Brazil is not only the best Brazilian restaurant in Astoria, it is one of the best restaurants period.
Especially for what you’re paying you are really getting a super deal.
The second you walk in you’re greeted by the genuine smiles of the amazing servers RAFA and ANA. You can tell that Rafa and Ana love their jobs and love serving up the amazing cuisine of their beautiful country. Ana’s genuine smile is the definition of hospitality!
The food is beautifully presented with every detail cared for, and the entire place is kept sparkling clean and the gorgeous decor on the walls takes you on a trip to Brazil??.
The rice is perfectly fluffy, the pao de queijo is just like what you’d have on a chilly morning in Minas Gerais ?, the croquette is perfectly crunchy on the inside but soft and pillowy on the inside, the vinaigrette salsa is extremely fresh with the perfect kick of acidity. Practically all of the desserts will have you going for seconds.
I could go on and on and write essays about Point Brazil but you get the point: if you’re reading you simply must go.
If you’re really ready to feast then go for their all you can eat buffet option. Only $39.99 for that level of quality is really a no-brainer and a deal that is practically impossible to find in NYC these days.
