“Food is always excellent. Service is great, and the atmosphere is family oriented. Sometimes they are a few patrons that display disrespect toward others with the use of their cell phones on speaker either when watching videos or having private personal conversations that the rest of the costumers have no need to be subjected to. Management should try to keep a policy of no speaker allowed .“
“I haven’t had food from them for a few years, but after moving back I tried them again, this time at their new (to me) take out window. The pao de queijo was great! As was the coxinha and flan. I would have appreciated a menu on paper so it would have been easier for me to point to what I wanted since I’m really bad with Portuguese. I wanted to order more but I think it got lost in translation“
“This place get packed easily due to the good and tasty food they provide.Amazing to see the big selection they have for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I believe they are the only one that offers a self service buffet breakfast. If you have been there for breakfast yet you missing out.A family business that have been in Astoria for years serving the community and making us Brazilian happy.“
“First time going to Beija Flor and you have to go! This cute and lively restaurant left the best impressions! All the meals ordered were to die for and melted in our mouths. From the grilled salmon with vegetables, to the burger, to the mixed green salad with grilled shrimp, to the shrimp with garlic sauce, and the yuca fries, everything was *chef's kiss* mouth-watering!Service was excellent! The servers were efficient and polite. Cícero was hands-down such a hospitable, welcoming, accommodating, and friendly host! Our party went to celebrate a birthday and he came out with a candle sparkler on the most delicious and creamiest flan while the band sang "Happy Birthday" in Portuguese!Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in Long Island City. It was such a short and easy walk from the E Queens Plaza train station. They made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience. I recommend it to everyone!“
“Thinking about eating a good pizza, ? then let's go to Theodoro Pizza, Brazilian dough and filling, service and a clean and safe environment, live music on special days, it's worth checking out... I loved it.Vegetarian options: specialty of the houseParking: super easy to find your spot...“
“Went the other evening with a group of friends and we had a fantastic time. Great assortment of food, superb service by the staff, and a nice ambiance. The meats tasted great and the side dishes complemented them well. Also can’t say enough about how good that pineapple was - worth going here just for that.A lot of these types of establishments will try to cheap out on how much they serve but we were treated to a true all you can eat experience. At a certain point we needed to ask the waiters to stop because we were all too full.In short we had a fantastic time and we definitely plan on going back.“
“Paid $42 for me and my boyfriend, they gave me a piece of meat That was so tough Everything else was good. I also don’t think she removed the weight from my plate but it wasn’t bad. If I’m honest, I think that the mashed potatoes and heavy items like that, are a waste because they rack up the price. Their hot sauce is good, however, if I’m being honest the amount of food we got it was not worth the price . It was tasty, but I think you have to be more smart about it than I was maybe just one plate with sides and one plate with meat . Also, once I left the bathroom, a homeless man was standing in front of our table which was a little concerning“
“Amazing Brazilian restaurant ?..Top quality + Best customer service + No stress for parking in the heart of Astoria community ? .. “The all you can eat tableside service was phenomenal and very much worth the price. Our host Hasin as well as the entire staff of meat carvers and wait staff were very attentive and always available even when the restaurant was very busy. Definitely coming back.“
“I absolutely loved my experience here. All the workers were so friendly and attentive to my family and I. Johnny M. Was extremely kind. He made my family and I laugh. He was careful to ask us our preferences. I really appreciated the service that I received here. Would highly recommend coming here for group events. Hopefully you get to experience Johnny's hospitality. :)“
“Came here for Valentines Day with my family- 2 adults and 3 kids. Great atmosphere and loved the decor. The staff was very friendly and very attentive. The food was the best, we started with some appetizers and for our main dish we had the churrasco and the rib dish. My kids devoured their plates. We will definitely be coming back and I definitely recommend this place. Very kid friendly as well.“
“I love anything that's Portugal. From Porto wine to porcelain tiles to bacalao to pulvo. And my favorite will be the wood fired charcoal bbq. From the moment you park your car in the parking lot, you smell the wood fired rodizio. That's heavenly. This is not a fancy restaurant. Not at all. They use ingredients and dinnerwares straight from the Restaurant Depot warehouse. But who cares? They perfectly pair well with the wood fired rodizio. This kind of restaurant reminds me of small & independently owned eatery on the hills of Lisbon and Porto. And most importantly, they are mass producing my favorite piri piri oil in a jar.I haven't been to this restaurant since I moved to NJ (and FL) and I miss them quite a lot. No, Fogo de Chao (while excellent on their own) is not the same.“
“I saw this place listed on a website for best cheap eats and I can see why. This is an inexpensive Brazilian buffet that charges by the pound. I have been to several of these types of places in Astoria. Like those ones, in addition to the regular buffet offerings, they have a churrascaria option where you can choose cuts of grilled meat that raises the price. However, I found the regular buffet to be excellent as it is.Some of the items being offered were: maduros, fried chicken, beef brisket, rice and beans, seafood rice, fried fish, stewed fish, farofa, oxtail, spaghetti, salads, and much more. I though the brisket and fried chicken meat were especially moist and juicy.“
“The açaí bowls remind me of how açaí should taste and how it used to taste before it became overly commercialized. The staff is always friendly. The space is very clean. The paninis are so good! When I work in Manhattan, I miss my Astoria location. I'm glad they moved in.“
