Albert’s Mofongo is a breath of fresh air for Hackensack, offering an excellent and amazing experience. The atmosphere is beautiful, clean, neat, and welcoming, with courteous, kind, professional, and friendly service. The food is absolutely delicious, very tasty, and out of this world, with perfect texture and flavor and amazing presentation. Portions are more than enough to satisfy. Must-try items include the mofonguitos, the mini shrimp mofongo, the shrimp mofongo, the Chicharrón Mofongo, and the rabo mofongo, which is to die for. Other highlights are the quipe, the steak and onions with Moro rice and maduros, and the morir soñando drink, which is like a dessert. The menu is authentic and impressive, with the chef receiving great credit. The restaurant is BYOB and located at 86 Anderson Avenue. Guests are highly recommended to visit and will definitely be back many more times.
