I didn't like the attention of the waitress, I went to the bathroom and when I returned she had to lie down on the table to serve my husband, lying down and my husband stood back while the employee told him what food he had. It is not professional at all, very rude to have that gesture with men knowing that they are going with his wife. I should respect. They should teach you customer service, you don't have to be so light to serve well and what it leaves is a bad image for the business. ? I don't plan to return.

I go here for the custard French toast, it is an absolute hidden gem on the menu. They also have a habit of hiring extremely cute girls to work the front which always helps ?The Pollo guisado is always a good safe bet for me and I prefer it to any other in this part of town. Not a fancy place or a 5 star restaurant, just a very good place to eat for locals in a chill atmosphere

I have visited cafe tropical multiple times and each experience was great. I love the white rice with tripe stew. I will continue to go there.

I bought a stewed cow tongue, very delicious, a little expensive, but exquisite, good Latin flavor.

VERY delicious food and very nice staff.
I walked in there after getting my nails done, not knowing what to order. The manager was so patient and helpful, we don’t speak any Spanish but felt so comfortable and excited about the portions and food. When we got home and got to eat we were obsessed. The food is a 10/10. Everything is fresh and the Yuca fries are amazing!!! Now we are regulars, and the staff is so friendly. Highly recommend everyone to try this place!
