Capon's Chophouse is a restaurant where the food and service are top notch. Every single time, the food is excellent, properly, genuinely excellent. The cooking respects ingredients, knows when to be bold and when to be restrained. The menu has staples and a rotating special, and guests have yet to be disappointed. Many recommend trying the Bread Experience, which is life changing. Specific meals mentioned include the Kosher Ribeye, NY Strip, 16 oz ribeye, tuna crudo, cesar salad, disco fries, east coast/ west coast oysters, 8oz Peppercorn Filet with whipped Potato, crispy rice, Market Salad, grilled Branzino, steak frites, and Carrot Cake. The cocktails are great, and the sides are 10/10 with nice sized portions. The staff is warm, attentive, and genuinely good at their job.
