This place has been around for 19 years in Hackensack. We should have tried it earlier. We went for lunch and were blown away. Every dish was spot on.

Chicken with onions or breaded steak, dates with bacon, everything was great. Want good Cuban, you must stop by. Parking on the street and in the back.

It's my last day of the school year and we usually go to Casual Habana in New Milford. It's a Monday and they're closed on Mondays. We came here to the original CH in Hackensack. The food was just as good. The atmosphere could be considered a little better than NM just on vibe alone. The only negative could be parking though I did see a parking garage afterwards, so that could be a bonus. Our server was Aleesi and he was excellent and very attentive. I didn't...

Casual Habana was a great surprise. The grilled octopus appetizer was perfectly cooked — tender with a nice char and packed with flavor. My kid loved the non-alcoholic cocktail, which was a really nice touch and felt just as thought-out as the regular drinks.

The skirt steak was cooked beautifully, and the beef ribs were rich, tender, and full of smoky flavor. Add in the relaxed atmosphere and good service, and it made for a really solid meal. Definitely a...
