The best!! I recently re discovered Chicken Magician after a flyer was dropped in my door. I practically lived on Chicken Magician thru my 20’s, so to see Johnny still manning the ship all these years later made me so happy! I got the fish platter with fries, a breast and a bunch of different sides to share. The chicken is still juicy and flavorful, and the fish hit the spot! I highly recommend if you’re in the area.
Chicken Magician in Teaneck is a great example of a local spot that knows exactly what it does well. The fried chicken is flavorful and satisfying, the wings have a great crisp to them, and the fries with their house sauce are seriously worth trying. There’s also a surprisingly wide menu if you’re looking for something beyond chicken, including shrimp, fish, clams, ribs, and different sides.
