Ordered me a nice pastrami sandwich. Cheese couldn’t have been melted a bit. Curly fries were good but not crispy almost little soggy. For a few empanadas. They were really good. Hot fresh and pretty filled up. Definitely would go again.

I tried this place for lunch and the sandwhiches here are great, fresh bread, well-dressed and cooked Halal meats... << It is so hard to find places that only serves Halal meats in Hackensack.

This place is truely a hidden gem in Hackensack for a quick bite for lunch. I will be coming here more often for lunch, as I would like to try other items on their menu.

If you live in or near Hackensack, NJ, and haven't experienced Cousin Deli, stop what you're doing right now. I'm not exaggerating when I say I'm here almost every night. This is hands-down the best bodega experience you will ever have, and it all comes down to two things: phenomenal food and incredible people.
