Had a great lunch while meeting a friend from the area who recommended we met here for lunch. Did not realize it was an upscale setting and the waitress politely asked me to remove my baseball cap. The food and drinks were excellent across the board. Not a big fan of artichoke dip, but it was superb. Ribs were excellent! Super professional service and immaculate atmosphere. Highly recommend for an upscale dining experience!
We used to frequent Houston’s pretty often, but have run into issues much recently, with booking reservations or just wanting to stop in for a cocktail before the movies or shopping. They’re never able to accommodate anymore, so we book reservations, and even then there is always a hiccup. During our last reservation, which we showed up on time, and only dined for about an hour, we were still kicked out. Fast forward, When we arrived on this particular evening, they were refusing...
Food is always good at Houston’s but the staff really make you feel like you don’t belong when you walk in with a kid. They don’t have high chairs or boosters so basically they don’t want kids in there. Mine is pretty restaurant trained and well behaved and even then I got weird looks.
