You should come here because they have speciality coffee and drinks, and stay for the vibes and culture. Love the concepts like the "coquito latte" and the whole attention to detail from the paintings and murals on the wall to the stoned floor and the domino table that sits in the middle of it all.

I happened to walk past this place on my way to my car from the post office. It looked so cute and I never seen it before. The service was great- the guy was well informed and he had a happy and pleasant attitude (I can’t tell you how many times I walk in somewhere and teenagers look miserable ?) . The attitude represents the ambiance- it’s a big open space- not to cluttered, very relaxed, very carribean and great vibes. The one thing I have to say is it was 85 degrees today and they had the door open so it was a bit was a bit warm there, hence why I didn’t stay. I would like to work there but maybe in the winter cause I can’t stand the heat. The food- I had a freshly made passion juice which was so cold and fresh! I asked for a ban de yuca- and I regretted not getting more food. It was wooooo good! The cheese was fresh the arepa was so warm and soft… I haven’t had a pan de yuca that good in a long time. And they take Apple Pay! I would definitely be coming back here.

Marimba Cafe is a wonderfully artistic and thoughtfully designed place with attention to every detail. The staff is friendly, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy coffee or CannaCocktails with friends, or even get some work done. I always enjoy stopping by here.

Marimba Café is always such a warm and inviting spot! Every time we visit, it truly feels like we're en familia. The waffles are absolutely delicious, and the service is top-notch. We've also had the pleasure of being vendors at their Placita Sundays—such a thoughtfully organized and attentive event. We highly recommend!

I had the pleasure of visiting Marimba Cafe for the first time, as this was the second Silent Book Club Meetup, presented by Book Haven Books at this lovely cafe; I was unable to attend the first one at Marimba in May, but tonight was the night!
The decor is gorgeous and truly honoring of Hispanic Heritage. Their Avocado Arepa is MUY DELICIOSO, and their other food and beverage offerings are excellent.
The staff are masters of customer service, and they radiate great energy. There are also some games one can play during their visit.
The bathroom is very clean, and literally, right next door, via the door near the counter.
There are also other offerings one can buy, from tee shirts to Puerto Rican hot sauce.
Tonight, Thursday, July 25, 2024, was my first time back in Hackensack, NJ, in more than thirty years, and this place was so very beyond worth the trip. I look forward to returning, as soon as I can.
Wheelchair accessibility: Lots of space between seating, and some tables are designated wheelchair accessible.

Such a lovely and cozy cafe that encapsulates a little bit of PR and Colombia- truly they did a wonderful job of making it a beautiful environment to be in! The decor is elegant but also makes you feel at home; they have this gorgeous mural representing the coffee fields and another wall with amazing screen printed artwork, must see. The owners are so kind and are here often to answer any questions. As for the food and beverages, the coquito latte and pandebono are the perfect combo to start your day. I have been frequenting here quite a bit to get some school work done, the music sets a great vibe and the cannacocktails will get you right! Definitely recommend :)
