Had a book club meet up with my friends and we definitely enjoyed ourselves. The music was nice but not too loud. The drinks were great, I ordered the milo latter with coffee and was delicious. I want to go back to try the coquito latte! I also had a arepa de yuca with cheese on top it was so good! The staff is awesome! Definitely coming back!

No place quite like it. Amazing vibes, great music. Coffee is out of this world. And besides, the place is 100% local, owned by a couple from Hackensack who went to high school here, and they designed the place together and used local businesses to bring it together.

Love this cafe! They’re always hosting different activities but the highlight is the coffee of course. The coquito latte is warm yumminess in a cup. I’ve also tried their bread with butter & cheese as well as their chicken sandwich and pastelitos & all I can say is yum yum yum! Good for working remote if you want a change of scenery with a cute vibe too.

I come here now and then to get a latte and trust me it hits the spot. Their iced coquito latte is to DIE FOR!!! It’s really a must need after a stressful day. Besides that the ambiance is great and the seating area truly is a multipurpose space. If you’re looking to support a local Latino-owned business then you need to come here.

First time here and heard good things about this place. The was food was very flavorful and service was quick. Only thing I wish is that the sandwiches came with fries or chips or something on the side. Definitely recommend for a quick bite!

This was my first time in Marimba Cafe and I am very impressed. Hackensack has a lot of great small, businesses and Marimba Cafe is one of them for sure! FOOD WAS 10/10, authentic and cooked very well. Service was great, they greeted me as soon as I walked in. The concept and overall atmosphere felt very real and wholesome. The business owners really took their time and effort to create such a nice community center.

First time here & I loved it ! From seeing Hector Lavoe in a Santa outfit was amazing and fun and then when I walked in & saw the amazing set up ! From a dominoes table too . I also love how they have Cbd products & goodies. I had the El clasico Sandwich which was $8.50. Omg it was amazing! Everything together with the sweetness of the guava (that’s what attracted me to this sandwich! I love guava) it was simply amazing! The cannacocktail coquito $5.50 and $10 extra for the nowadays 10mg. I didn’t add to my drink . But I do enjoy nowadays. & the coquito was delicious !!!!!! I love the taste and thickness. Every sip with coco bits. I def would come back I want to try the coquito matcha! I love the vibes! Def hard to find parking we had to park 6 mins away but it was so worth it !

Absolutely amazing experience!
From the moment i walked in, the vibes were warm, welcoming, and full of good energy. The service was outstanding — attentive, friendly, and genuinely caring. The food and drinks were flavorful. And the coffee? So good! Rich, smooth, and the perfectly made. You can tell they take real pride in what they do.

What made the experience even better was the owner and her crew — so awesome, friendly, and genuinely invested in making sure everyone felt at home. You can really feel the love poured into this place.

Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great food, great service, and an overall great time. I’ll definitely be coming back! It was worth the 3hr drive!

El classico. That was the best breakfast sandwich ive ever had in my life. Perfectly soft bread with slightly crispy melted cheese and egg and turkey pieces. This is one of those sandwiches thats going to burn into my memory. The coquito coffee was delicious and mind blowing as well. I cant wait to come back.
