“Very small quaint space. It was packed with people but hostess found a table for us. My friend and I relished the menu and over ordered because everything looked so good. Excellent dumplings! We even got their Bahn mi and LOVED THAT !! We also each had their delicious vermicelli dishes. I know we over ordered and glad we did. EXCELLENT Vietnamese cuisine.“

The food is really good but he made a point to explain things and make recommendations. Is it very attentive as well in the checkout process and educated me on what flavors go well together“

“Mochi Dolci is one of my favorite places in the UWS. It's a family-owned business that TRULY CARES about the people that walk in for food, drinks, and hanging out. I love many of their #mochidonuts - classics like black sesame and taro but I love their playful ones such as fruity pebbles. Other dishes are good to such as their pork belly bao, mango salad, and dumplings. Of course, their #milktea and #bobatea are delicious. I recently tried their matcha milk tea with strawberry popping boba. Their place is cozy and welcoming. They have a speakeasy too - I have not been, but they were kind to let me explore it (with their permission). I look forward to come back for drinks and food with friends! “I’ve returned to Tao’s downtown many times in the past few years and it remains one of my favorite places to just unwind when life gets too hectic.
Last night’s dessert was just amazingly enjoyable and different for a change. The fried snapper and rainbow roll remains a couple of our favorites.

Splendid evening at Tao’s for a birthday dinner. My second visit and we had a great time. The ambiance is very upbeat and uplifting. Live DJ and great music. Our waiter this time around was not as attentive as our previous waitress. The lychee martini is a must try, you won’t be disappointed. Food is delicious. The lobster pad Thai, Hong Kong noodles were my favorite. We will be returning to try other menu items.“
