My issue was this place that it was not worth the 130 bucks it cost to eat there. My duck was dry, and my wife's chicken was bland and tasteless. The best dust at the table that night was my daughter's quesadillas.

My Lady and I eagerly looked forward, to attending Rosa Mexicano. This since noting its opening, at Riverside Square. The eye catching modest facade invited us, into an expansive and grand interior! The space welcomes walk-ins, reservations and accommodates special events. In addition, there is a separate and nice bar area. A young man graciously escorted us, to our requested and comfortable booth. “Lucia” was our waitress. She was pleasant and patient, with us. We had many questions, on the menu items. There is a wide variety, of choices! Something for everyone! Chips with a zesty salsa, preceded our meal. We shared a generous and tasty Mexican Shrimp Cocktail. From there, our selections were the same: Rosa's Own Caesar and the Seafood Empanadas. They were nicely prepared and presented, by the kitchen staff and Lucia! Hot foods were hot and chilled foods at a good temperature. All the while, we enjoyed the decor and authentic music. The atmosphere, was pleasant! The manager “Kris,” stopped by and introduced himself. We commended the efforts of all the staff and the role of management! We thanked everyone, for a nice dining experience! We look forward, to returning to Rosa Mexicano! G. D. Stubbs (GdsUnl) 8/25

The steak at medium was not cooked to the right temperature. It was more well and tough. The French fries were soggy. The seafood enchilada had a shell in it. For the price of the meal of $200 for two people we were were quite disappointed and dissatisfied. Waitress was good.

Front door was open allowing exhaust from cars outside to come in. Entrees were served before appetizers. Duck tacos were absolutely terrible. Has gone completely down hill. Fast food Mexican food is far superior than this slop.

Server was friendly and attentive, but food was overpriced and underwhelming. Not worth the high price tag.

I went on the 4th of July and it was pretty empty. TOTAL WIN!! I hate when places are overcrowded. It was my first time going here . I always end up at Maggianos (next door) but I decided to try this place since I do enjoy mexican food as well. I originally heard about this place years ago. Partially the NYC location since that's where I reside. I was blown away by the great flavors of the fresh made guacamole. Tons of places tend to lack flavor and it just ends up tasting like lime and avocado. I also tried the birria tacos it was delicious and my boyfriend got the Mexican fried rice. He also said it was amazing . I definitely recommend trying this place out if you like Mexican food . (Definitely not a chipotle) .

Manager was great! He came over when he realized that my food was not delivered properly. Took it back and fixed it right away!

The portions of food seem smaller and price is higher, they were out of flour tortillas at 530pm, and the service was lacking, drinks sat empty for some time. Ambiance was nice and restaurant is kid friendly.

Happy to have found a Rosa Mexicano on our trip to northern NJ. Found the ambiance to not be smart casual (as advertised or like the National Harbor or DC restaurants). But we go for the table side guac!

Margarita was served in a very small plastic cup filled with ice. Not exactly what I was expecting on Cinco de mayo. Other than that the food was good

My family and I always have a great time. My kids loved the 5 de mayo dinner. Adult beverages were amazing considering the volume of people. Definitely would recommend for kids

Service and food were great as usual. Our family likes that they do more unique Mexican dishes and usually are running a discount or coupon in restaurant.

Service was great! Overall very good atmosphere and lively environment. It was a good meeting place for a casual dinner.

Overpriced . A guacamole was 35.00. A small sprite, mostly ice, was 5,00. Cesar salad .22.00. Hostess was pushing for us to order two orders of guacamole
