I went on the 4th of July and it was pretty empty. TOTAL WIN!! I hate when places are overcrowded. It was my first time going here . I always end up at Maggianos (next door) but I decided to try this place since I do enjoy mexican food as well. I originally heard about this place years ago. Partially the NYC location since that's where I reside. I was blown away by the great flavors of the fresh made guacamole. Tons of places tend to lack flavor and it just ends up tasting...

The portions of food seem smaller and price is higher, they were out of flour tortillas at 530pm, and the service was lacking, drinks sat empty for some time. Ambiance was nice and restaurant is kid friendly.

Happy to have found a Rosa Mexicano on our trip to northern NJ. Found the ambiance to not be smart casual (as advertised or like the National Harbor or DC restaurants). But we go for the table side guac!
