This place is not only very comfortable but has a very nice weight staff and great food. It takes a while to get served, which is slightly inconvenient, but not a big deal. There is usually a pretty long wait on weekends, but during the week it's not bad. It's very clean, the bathrooms are very clean, the decor is very nice. We did have to wait a pretty long while to be seated, but it was worth it. They even stayed open during Covid and we're very accommodating.

First time at Rosa Mexicano at the Riverside Shops. I was so exited at first as the Host and the waiter were so nice and accommodating. The restaurant looks very nicely decorated. We ordered the nacho's and it was very tasty. Perfect amount of cheese and other ingredients. I asked the waiter before ordering the crispy shrimp tacos if the breading was heavy and I was told it wasn't and it was a "fair amount of shrimp" he should have told me it was a shrimp tempura. It was a medium size shrimp (if that) stretched long ways dipped in batter and fried. I took the batter off to see what was inside because I couldn't taste or see the shrimp and saw that it wasn't a full shrimp. It was half a shrimp. It actually looked like it was pulled and stretch. It's embarrassing and insulting that management thinks that it's alright to serve a dish like this and charge $16.00. The taco barely had any fixings or a side. The carnita taco were a little better, but not great. It's a shame because it's looks like a nice place, but definitely a rip off. Not a place I will be returning to.

My husband and I always love to eat here. It's a town favorite! Rosa recently updated their decor and menus too. The staff has always been so kind and accommodating. The bar is a nicUsually, I would go for the alcoholic beverages but recently have been choosing off their non-alcoholic menu. Their new non-alcoholic drinks are SO refreshing and pairs well with their ceviche or their delicious nachos! The guacamole is a must as well! This is a wonderful place for date night, meal with the family, celebrations and more! Favorite drinks so far have to be: Mango chile margarita Blood orange sunrise Gauva margarita Basically, any of their margaritas are worth a try!

We got there on a beautiful night and wanted to eat outside. They said it was going to rain soon and we should eat inside. It never did rain. The interior was under construction and half the the restaurant is draped in plastic. A complete eyesore and a huge disappointment as we were celebrating a birthday. The wait staff and the food was good. No complaints there.

Pretty decent place considering it's in a mall. The guacamole was not made table side. I got it with crab which was awesome but had enough crab on it for only a few chips, so not enough. Got the ceviche tasting and it was ok. Entrees were large and filling. Again, it's not bad for a mall restaurant.

2nd time visiting this place, and had quite a different experience when compared to the 1st visit, so providing reviews for both visits. 1st Visit - 2019 (5 Stars) Simply loved the atmosphere, fresh Guacamole made at your table, timely service, strong drinks, and the couple dishes we tried tasted really good.. 2nd Visit - Cinco de Mayo 2022 (3 Stars) Didn't feel much of celebratory vibe, Tableside Guacamole was not made Table side, and the girls at the Hostess Station (there were 3 girls, don't ask me why) were constantly talking and taking Selfies and not really helping out with Seating.. Restaurant was undergoing some renovations, so there was some delay in Service.. Also, looks like they are going for a more Americanized version for their look and feel, since the Renovations and the new Menu, looked way different from the fun, colorful, Mexican Restaurant look it previously had.. Drinks tasted good but felt like they were watered down, especially for the price. Ordered way more dishes than the previous visit (larger group) and most of them tasted good, but the quality and quantity was inconsistent.. Like some of the Sides and Appetizers had big portions and tasted great, while some of the entrées looked overpriced.. Will probably once again after the Renovations are completed..

Awful vegetarian options. Three tiny tacos took 1.5hours for them to make. Awful service. I'm disappointed with the flavor of the food. we couldn't even finish our food.

We came here for cinco de mayo and jd say for it to be cinco de mayo the celebration was lack luster. They had a dj but that was it. He just played in the background and wasn't really festive music. For service our server Elena was super nice and attentive. I was a little disappointed that the restaurant did not do the guac tableside and instead did all guac in a centralized location then brought it to the table. That takes away from the experience. The guac was delicious though. I initially ordered the shrimp and noodles dish but I did not like it at all the noodles taste like chewy wheat noodles and didn't have flavor so I ended up switching to salmon which was was better. I forget the name of my drinks however one was something with coconut and the other was something with guava they both were good. The location is hard to find. I put it in my GPS and it took my to the other side of the mall. Then when walking around to find it its hard to locate as they do no have a sign outside.

The girls and I got together for Cinco de Mayo and chose this spot. When I arrived I didn't locate the restaurant right away because there was no sign. It is located in the shopping plaza next to PF Chang. I walked in and gave the reservation name. The DJ was bumping. I wanted to sit by the bar area but there were no available tables. We were sat and served by Elena and she was very nice and not frazzled by the busy restaurant. I started with the red sangria and I will say it was good but it was a bit pricey for a small cup of sangria. I then had a frozen margarita and that was a bit weak. We ordered different entrées and I got the shrimp tempura tacos and they were quite small and not filling. One of the girls got a noodle shrimp meal that she sent back because she didn't care for it and got salmon which she liked. The chips and guacamole were good. The food also took quite a bit to come out as well. I expected a little more fun for Cinco de Mayo but it was an ok experience.

The food is always fantastic! As is the service. They changed the menu so I couldn't find my usual, but had the beef brisket enchiladas and the signature nachos. Yum! Then why only 3 stars? The bathrooms. Both men and womens. They past few times we've been there, they are disgusting...unclean, dank, and a foul stench. So eat before you use them or use the ones next door at PF Changs. I can no longer justify the drive for their fresh guacamole.
