True Food has been a favorite go-to of mine. However, My experience last night was extremely disappointing. It seemed the restaurant was ill-equipped for dining on a Monday evening. Food came out poorly cooked (inedible rice as it was so hard), ice-cold chinese chicken salad seemed straight from the fridge, a Teriyaki Bowl which was completely tasteless, and the restaurant was out of carrot cake and peppermint tea which the server was unaware of until after taking our order. We have been going to True Food for years. The food is wonderful, thoughtfully fresh and prepared, but the service is consistently bad. No other way to say it. On this night, the waitress forgot to put my daughter's meal in causing us to have to wait 15 minutes for a child's burger and fries.
