$25 for a plain cheese calzone! The menu shows a plain cheese one for $12.95 - so how does a large one cost double!
Absolutely absurd - this is why we order from Pronto’s who has excellent food and a reasonable price. The large calzone we get from Pronto’s is less than $20 even when we put meats and veggies in it. As far as size - the calzones were the same at both places - so not a good reason to charge more… I will say that it tasted good - but definitely not so good that it was worth paying so much.
We will NOT be ordering anything from Taste of Italy again!!!

Consistency come here since moving to hackettstown, really enjoy there pizza and love the family vibe they have. Will always come here and encourage others as well

The food is always very good, but we were charged $4 for 2 "bottled" waters, without being told first that their drinking water system is broken. Customers should be told PRIOR to ordering that they only have bottled water and would be charged $2 per bottle. In addition, the bottles weren't brought to the table, just 2 filled glasses of water that were room temperature. Apparently, this broken water system has been an ongoing problem that hasn't been fixed yet. Hoping it's not an attempt to jack up the bill so the restaurant makes more money!
Otherwise, the food is never disappointing!

Located in a strip mall but the atmosphere is pleasant enough in the dining room.
Food is fantastic! Every meal I’ve had is seasoned perfectly. Great variety on their menu. Service is very good.
Bring your own bottle with a wine store right next store is convenient. Highly recommend!

We went here for the 2nd time but unfortunately won’t be returning. My son and I ordered water with our meals and received Poland spring bottled water which they charged us $2 a bottle, we just wanted tap water and that was not an option. Our meals were good but nothing out of the ordinary and the bill was like $20 more than our regular places in town. Also fir Father’s Day we went to a winery and I ordered 2 sandwiches and 1 salad and it was almost $60 thanks but no thanks

I was sold a pizza that has old meat on it. It tastes like it went bad, but they cooked it anyway. I ordered bell pepper on it for $3.95 more - didn't get it. I tasted it and immediately spat it out. I literally still have this garbage that they sold me last night.

We ordered delivery and it came 3 hours later than the quoted time. I understand being busy but the restaurant was not willing to remake the old food or allow us to come pick up a fresh order. Ultimately our food sat in a hot car during a heat wave for 3 hours and was not good. We used to order from here weekly but will not again based on this experience.

Stay away. This is the third time they didn’t make our order (yes, I know). Showed up this time—no pizza—“I make it now”. Go back in half an hour. CHARGES US. AND THERE IS STILL NO PIZZA. No words.
