“Today’s my 2nd time eating there. There’s a young lady who get the orders while the other does the cashier thingy. I appreciate the young lady who serves, she’s very pleasant both times I was there. She deserves a tip. I didn’t care for potato salad and cabbage with the added frozen vegetables, I’m so happy not to have that the first time, and I’ll order again if they don’t add that. Those items are great by themselves. Thank you!“

“I ordered a large oxtail platter with cabbage, yams rice & beans. My yams were very hairy like they were canned yams. I usually order mac & cheese instead. The rest was pretty good it just seems like every visit the oxtail become less & less (stingy).“

“This place is deliiiicious. I’ve only done pick up. Not sure anyone ever actually eats there. It’s encased with plastic, kinda loud from some big fans, hard to hear. But absolutely none of that matters because they have the best jerk chicken you can get in Philly (in my experience so far). I lived in Florida for a while and ate a lot of jerk chicken. “OMG They have AWESOME Oxtail. I went to this Jamaican restaurant for lunch and I ordered macaroni and cheese and corn bread and I noticed they had oxtail on their menu and I told they lady who worked there that I never had oxtail and I was told by my family and friends that oxtail is so good so the the lady asked if I wanted to order a platter I said no because I already brought fried chicken and I just want the Mac and cheese and corn bread to eat with my chicken so she was kind enough to ask me if I wanted to sample the oxtail and I said yes she then hand me a small cup with oxtail and gravy. OMG that oxtail was tender and falling off the bone. It tasted like beef stew and the gravy was AWESOME so awesome that I was licking the gravy off my fingers. I will definitely be ordering a oxtail platter from this restaurant in the near future. 😋“

“Been coming here since 2010 and to this day I still get great service. The staff is very friendly and very accommodating. The food is delicious and they give you a good portion for the price. I will continue to come to the spot as long as they are open for business!“

“I had Mr.Jerk for the first time, the other Day ordered from Uber eats. The Food was fresh and the portions were large!! I was not a fan of the Oxtail as there were too Fatty and had a sweetness to them. The cabbage was pretty bland, but fresh. The rice and peas were Good. The Macaroni and cheese was sooo good, BEST Mac I had from any Jamaican store I ate from. FOURS STARS for the freshness, portions, and of course the Mac! Next time I’ll try the curry!“

Where to start… Trappixx is an amazing place to have a family dinner, date night, solo dinner etc. The Staff are amazing, friendly and on top of everything everything was a 10/10 best Jamaican food I’ve tasted ! GREAT EATS ! Recommend that garlic shrimp with the white rice ( mouth drooling ) lol but yeah definitely check them out !“

Jerk Fry City is a must-try.

The food was very good, so I changed my review to higher. The service was good too. The prices were frankly a deal.
I would give 5 stars, but you have to either bring cash, or use their 3 dollar surcharge ATM which was inconvenient.

“Let me telll you. The Jerk chicken was soooo good. the sweet potatoes was sooooo good. I came here from word of mouth at my job and glad I did... the oxtail sauce was sooooo good. just good well seasoned and not over seasoned food. the guys in the back were great, the customer service was great. just a good chill place to get some good food.“
