“Awesome place. I always get lunch here. Everything is good but my favorite is the Chicken pita thing. It's grilled chicken with lettuce, tomato, onion, and honey mustard. It's very very delicious. They have tables but it's very cramped and if youre going to eat there don't expect privacy, they tables are super close together.“

The coffee is good with coffee-adjacent drinks with fun names. I have never seen the place empty or slow.There are a handful of pastries (croissant, pecan roll, ham and cheese croissant, everything bagel twist, etc.) to accompany the beverages. I was told the pastries come from Le French Dad Boulangerie, so if you like their baked goods, you’ll be pleased.If you’re prone to migraines or if you’re looking for a semi-quiet place to work or have a chat, this is not the place for you. If you want to show friends or visitors a unique place with good coffee, this does the job.“

“Great meal and overall time here! Our server was super nice and friendly/helpful he really guided us through the menu and gave some great suggestions. The restaurant itself is super nice and cozy while being spacious, but oh man the food is unreal. We had the meatballs (so big and flavorful and smothered in sauce), the mushroom pizza which was loaded with mushrooms, super flavorful and unique. Also got the vodka pizza which was really great, we got extra vodka sauce on the side so we could really drown it and loved it. My friend got the gluten free and she said it's the first gluten free bread she's had that actually tastes like real bread and loved it.“

“My family and I love love love Kubo. Since they opened, we def try to come here any time were in the area. My fave fave fave is the Ube Soft Serve with Taiyaki and boba. Their soft serve is just so creamy and flavorful. I haven't tried everything on their menu yet, but I def plan to. Posting a pic from our most recent visit last week.They have a small seating area, but in the warmer seasons they add some extra outside seating which is nice. “Ambiance was really cool almost felt like I was in an east village coffee shop. The latte was strong and delicious along with the Ube and cream cheese pastry I ordered. The record room was awesome, the only thing I was shocked at how awful the music played was. With all the cool records from the 80's and 90's I couldn't believe the a little too loud music choices: I looked around and noticed everyone had headphones on so I guess they knew the drill. The music choice was huge for setting the experience, their coffee is strong and then their playing a loud song with a jazz club beat that keeps repeating doesn't make it easy to concentrate on the task at hand and big reason for picking this place.“

Jocelyn especially helped my 90 year old mom upstairs and into the bathroom! Our server handled our large party with ease and grace and was so so sweet! “My husband and I had just landed from a red- eyed flight from California and "yelped" best breakfast sandwiches. DB Breakfast was at the top of the list, so we had our Uber take us directly there. Not realizing they were not due to open for another 35 minutes; we stood outside in the pitch black deciding what to do next. All of a sudden the door opened and the sweetest lady welcomed us in. She was so kind and prepared coffee for us and took our order. This would never had happened in California. My husband ordered the Taylor Ham sandwich and loved it. First time we had every heard of Taylor ham. I order the bacon sandwich and it was amazing. The food was delicious and the service was top notch.Thank you Vivian for the warm hospitality. Most of my transactions here have been of the grab and go variety, but the couple of times I have actually been able to have a sit down, my experience has been most pleasant. The baristas are excellent and some of the home specialties offered there like the biscotti are excellent. “Such a cute Korean fusion brunch spot/cafe in Glen Rock! We stopped by around 9am on a Saturday and were lucky to get the last table without a wait. For drinks, we ordered their Strawberry Matcha Latte and their Sweet Corn Latte with Sweet Corn Cold Foam. Both drinks were made exactly how we liked them: not too sweet. I've been an avid corn latte fan after watching Single's Inferno 2, and it actually tastes pretty similar to the corn latte from Choi Jung Woo's cafe (iykyk). I would come back just for their drinks- and would love to try the injeolmi latte next. For food, we ordered their K-Street Toast and their K-Chicken and Waffles. Unfortunately, the waffles were pretty hard, but the chicken was tasty. The toast was simple but good! Note: - Reservations highly recommended, they tend to get pretty busy.“

Absolutely delicious, made fresh, not too sweet, too heavy, too watered down or too anything - PERFECT! “Ladies and gentlemen this is one of the best cafes in and around clifton-paterson- garfield area where you can grab a very flavorful coffee and enjoy a little studying time. The cafe has plenty of seats for everyone and plenty of outlets. Mario and jason are both great baristas and are phenomenal with the customers. I definitely come here often and study and enjoy the environment and vibes of cafe. It can get a little hectic and loud when there are inconsiderate people around but all in all one of my fav cafes. They always have new drinks and the baristas are very creative. Well done!“

“Defying Gravitea is a cute spot for breakfast, coffee/tea, or some little sweets. My mom and I stopped in early one morning and the owner Gina was super friendly and welcoming. The menu is entirely gluten/dairy free and as someone who is not gluten or dairy free, I believe the food was just as tasty, if not better! I had a pot of Rise + Glow tea and French toast. Will definitely be back!“

“I worked with Ma’s Tea House for a corporate event. Initially we wanted them to come on site at our NYC office location at make fresh bubble tea as people came into the office, which they do offer, but the building had a lot of specific requests which made it difficult to coordinate. We ended up deciding to switch to a delivery of 100 bubble teas in the morning for my event that same afternoon. From start to finish, they were very easy to work with and responsive. I stopped by the shop and Justin worked with me to decide on what would be best for delivery and what flavors would be good options. I even requested they add my company’s stickers to the cups along with their own and they did. Delivery was a little tough (but that was due to the location of the office in midtown, police officers not allowing vehicles to stop, etc.) but we eventually found each other for delivery and they helped bring the bubble teas into the building within the delivery time discussed.As for the bubble teas during the event, we decided on 50 white peach rose with strawberry popping boba and 50 passion fruit with mango popping boba. They were a HUGE hit and mostly gone within the hour from the start of the event which we didn’t expect. We were anticipating some leftovers by the end of the day, but in the end, there were none.Pricing was reasonable and comparable to other quotes that we received. Brian was great to work with. We would look to work with them again in the future!“

“I, my wife, and my friends love coming here. The coffee is great - I’m a big fan especially of the “Vanilla Snuggle”, and also of the iced coffee. The service is always friendly. It’s a popular place on the weekends, but I especially love coming in on a weekday to do work on my laptop. The atmosphere is relaxing. Local art is displayed on the walls. “I did a Google search for a coffee shop and came upon this small, unique shop. I ordered a latte and it was very good. It’s a very small set up with a huge mission. It’s a non-profit to help people with disabilities to have a place to work. What a great cause! I didn’t get any food but the options looked quite yummy.Parking: Very little parking on the street. There is a lot behind the building which had quite a few empty spaces. Have to walk around the building to get to the storefront but not difficult or long walk.“

“Pass this place every Monday and finally stopped in. This isn't a grab a pot and pour you a coffee spot. The barista measured and weighed out the coffee and then put it in a filter. She poured the water in and the coffee slow dripped out into the cup. You doctor it yourself with the provided sugar (2 types), honey, milk and half and half. The coffee was very good. Not bitter like some coffee places. Price wise is wasn't crazy expensive ($4.20 for a 20oz cup).“
