Absolutely loved the oysters (Vietnamese) and pork ribs. And we told them that we are sharing a chicken sandwich and they gave us two different plates with half a sandwich and fries - nice touch. Also the view is beautiful!
My fiancé and I came here for a late lunch on my birthday, and we couldn't have been happier! Our drinks were well-made and came out so quickly. For food, I ordered steamed mussels, which came out perfectly cooked and delicious, and he had a burger that he enjoyed so much, he didn't put it down once. We also had the ribs for an appetizer, and they were by far some of the best ribs I've ever had!
Service was great, with polite and responsive staff, and the view was gorgeous. Everything was so amazing, and we cannot wait to go back next time we visit Crystal Springs!
My husband and I decided to stay here for our anniversary to be away from the kids. My husband booked us dinner reservations here at the Tavern and besides decent service, everything else left much to be desired.
The filet mignon quality was not good and neither was the baked potato. Everything they brought out we called “fake fancy” because they were charging the higher end prices for very mediocre food. I would not set expectations high if you plan on eating here.
We had an amazing anniversary dinner! I think reservations are pretty much a must if you wanted to go there for dinner. Our waitress was very nice. Nice view of the mountains from the windows. The Vietnamese style oysters were very unique in flavor. We got ribs from the appetizer section and they were fall off the bone tender with amazing flavor. The halibut had a nice seared crust on it and it tasted so good with the clam broth. Would definitely go again for a special occasion!
I never write bad reviews but I really just had to air this out.
Overpriced subpar food. Hyped up restaurant with rich people who think they’re eating good food. Service took forever. Server was completely inattentive because we had sat down “after the lunch rush” whatever that means.
Charcuterie board which was advertised as “assortment of cheeses” came with ONE cheese (4 little cubes).
Crab cakes were paper thin. Actually they were the thinnest crab cakes I’ve ever had.
The fried chicken sandwich was actually soggy
Fried potato wedges that came with fish and chips were undercooked. The potatoes were actually not cooked through.
For this price point my food should be served on a gold platter with a cigar on the side.
The restaurant gave us no break on the bill either. I’m from Flushing Queens. You could throw a pebble and get 10x better food for half the price.
I did a room service order. Stuff that I ordered was missing and they sent stuff that I didn't order. It also too 2 hours for the food to be delivered. I also ordered a gluten free kids cheeseburger with no fries and no fruit to avoid cross contamination but they sent it with fries. Sent back the burger and never got it replaced. Thankfully I bought food for him.
I had the hanger steak. It was perfectly cooked to my liking with a good amount of char on it without being overdone. The loaded baked potato on the other hand left something to be desired, especially at the price. It was a 1/2 of a potato that was cold. I enjoyed the steak so much that overall a good experience and I'd go back. .
They had gluten free buns and gluten free potatoes and dairy free stuff
food is disgusting
Nastiest food I’ve ever had, omg.

I recently had the opportunity to dine at Crystal Tavern, and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. Over the course of two meals in one day, both had significant issues with the food that detracted from what could have been an enjoyable outing.
During both meals, there was something that wasn’t cooked properly, which was quite disappointing. It's frustrating when you look forward to a nice meal and instead encounter issues that could easily be avoided with better kitchen oversight.
With such a beautiful view, we were distracted by the crumbs surrounding me on the floor.
On a positive note, I must commend our server, who provided attentive and caring service throughout our visit. Their professionalism and dedication were the highlights of our experience, and they truly did their best to make us feel welcomed.
Overall, while the service was commendable, the food quality was a major letdown. I hope the restaurant can address these kitchen issues, as the potential for a great dining experience is certainly there. Until then, I can only give Crystal Tavern a 1.5 out of 5.

Very disappointing experience. You have a captive audience with the hotel guests staying on-site and should be absolutely ashamed of yourselves for the quality of food, prices charged and service you provide.
Our dining experience at the Crystal Tavern included two breakfasts and one dinner. Overall, our experience was just plain poor and expensive for what you receive.
Dinner on Tuesday started off poorly with our appetizer. It was placed on the table between my friend and I with a long dark piece of hair in it! Disgusting. Our server and the manager on duty (Ken) were very nice about it though and took care of it immediately. Dinner itself was overpriced, underwhelming and tasteless. Service on Tuesday night was fine.
Breakfast on Wednesday was just ok. My friend's coffee was cold and our eggs were just lukewarm. Service was fine.
Breakfast on Thursday was a hot mess. We waited 35 minutes for our breakfast to be delivered only to have to send my ice cold eggs back to get new scrambled eggs. My friend had to rush through eating her breakfast (without me) in order to make it to her spa appointment. What should have been a nice relaxing last breakfast together turned out to be a huge disappointment for both of us. My friend was so rushed, didn't get to finish her meal or her coffee.
Your in-house dining was totally disappointing. Overpriced and awful.
My suggestion to everyone... SKIP THE CRYSTAL TAVERN.
LEAVE THE HOTEL PROPERTY FOR YOUR MEALS. LEAVE the hotel property for breakfast, lunch AND dinner if you can. Visit the lovely Milano restaurant just a few minutes down the road for lunch and dinner instead!

Amazing. Brenda our waitress was lovely. The food was divine. The ribeye was definitely the star of the show. Blueberry pie was scrumptious ?

This place is pretty good for drinks and small plates but their description on their menu is incorrect on many things. Ordered the cauliflower steak that was supposed to come out with salsa verde and it came out with pesto sauce. I had a bad allergic reaction to the sauce and ended up getting violently sick. I hope they present the food the way it’s written on the menu so no one else gets sick. I ate the creamed corn and it was amazing.
