“It was our honor and privilege to be a part of a dear friend's B'day Bash last Sunday at Kochi. Dining at Kochi was one of the, if not THE, most memorable experience ever. We were totally floored by the exquisite food - and service - provided by Chef and Owner Mr. Jebu Matthew and his team. From the cool berry drink and amazing classic South Indian appetizers, to the numerous - and for us, many new - items that kept appearing in front of us almost magically during the main meal, served in the traditional South Indian style (on banana leaves), right through the delectable halwa and delicious jaggery rice payasam (desserts), we could feel the love and careful attention with which each item was prepared and pride with which each item was served. Plus, being served by Mr. Matthew himself was, in and of itself, humbling. He patiently explained the intricacies of each delicacy which helped us understand the complexity of the cuisine's varied flavors. To be actually seated (for hours) and served at the table greatly enhanced the culinary experience. We have rarely, if ever, felt that we have consumed a feast - but now, can proudly say so - because of Mr. Matthew and our experience at Kochi. “The food is spectacular. Now ,I've read some of the comments and yes, the service is a bit slow - but you are not at a fast food restaurant! If you want fast, go to McDonalds. If you want great authentic food - this is your place. The portion sizes are large enough that I usually bring some of my meal home to enjoy the next day and I'm a big eater.“

“This place has really gone down hill. I think the reason they keep it open is because it’s right across from the movie theater and they have a captive audience. Most of the time, you can walk right in and sit, but the good times end there. Usually, they take forever with orders, the food comes out wrong or has been sitting in the window for 10 minutes and comes out like something from Wawa’s hot and ready food by the checkout. The waiters typically look like they’re running around blindfolded serving 20 tables on their own even though nobody is there. The drinks are yummy like Willy Wonka Made them, and I like the brownies and Jack Daniel’s chicken even if they don’t call it Jack Daniel’s anymore. At least they serve food late unlike the tavern downtown. Five stars.“

“My husband and I celebrate our birthdays together since they are one day apart. This year we chose to go to Tuscano's in BORDENTOWN city which we've been too many times in the past. The bacon dusted calamari and Aji tuna apps were outstanding We both ordered the veal chop special, since we used to order the veal chop with Sunday gravy when it used to be on the menu many years ago. This veal chop was served with vodka sauce and pepperoni. Although the veal chop was cooked to perfection, the choice to serve it with the vodka sauce and pepperoni, honestly made it feel cheap, which it was most certainly not! We would have both preferred the delicious Sunday gravy that used to be served with it, but unfortunately, that is no longer available. I probably would not order this version of the veal chop in the future as it wasn't either one of ours favorites. but fast-forward to the espresso and the Italian cream and the pumpkin crème brûlée both desserts were outstanding. I ordered a Steak burrito a la mexicana with habanero sauce which came with rice and refried beans (pictured). The habanero sauce was spicy (which the worker warned me it would be) but I love spicy. My fiancé ordered a regular steak burrito with tomatillo sauce which came with rice and black beans. He finished his entire plate! In the end we also ordered churros which came with whipped cream and some sort of berry drizzle. Service was quick and attentive. Definitely coming back again!“

“As a first timer at Nomad, I read reviews and saw several that complained about the service; so I was prepared for same. But have to say, the service was good. Our server was prompt to the table, gave us time to decide, and brought water. And so it went, no complaints. Pizza is no longer a cheap meal, so no problem with the prices, which are reasonable. The pies, well, they are a tasty, flavorful meal, with crust done perfectly. One of our party ordered an arugula salad, which he devoured. The Nutella desert pizza was not that impressive, but it did seem to disappear. Cheers!“
