Unfortunately the samosas were soggy from all the sauce, and the hummus was very bland. I would suggest specifically getting sauces on the side, especially if you don't do spice, as the red is definitely spicy (but good)!\nI like this place for the mains (gyros), and Adam kabob for sides (baba ghanoush or hummus)“

“My daughters and I went there because we were having a rough day and wanted to just get out of the house and what a great experience we had .Our waiter Reise was super funny, had such great positive energy that transmitted to us. Our food came out fast and tasted great ! We left out of there smiling and happy with the food and service. As a business owner myself I understand the importance of having great customer service , giving the customer something beyond a service is anlso anbout the experience they receive and Reise def had that down ! “This is my third time visiting this A2B and the food has been consistently good. The parking is private and plenty of parking available. As you enter the restaurant, the ambiance is so pleasant and welcoming. The staff greets and gets you seated. The menu is via app and is very easy to use.
We ordered Veg thali for dine in Then ordered Crispy corn, Veg Kothu parotta, vegetable fried rice and Idiyappam with coconut milk.
The Veg thali meals was good portion and came with rice, Roti, Sambar, veg kurma, Rasam, yogurt, a desert, few sides of vegetables like spinach dal fry and sweet potatoes. I missed the Puli Kozhambu instead got the Mor kolambu. Overall the taste was spot on for Southindian meal.
We did order some snacks for take home and they were perfect and fresh. The take order took very long and we got to know that Idiyappam will take longer and had to cancel that.

“It was our honor and privilege to be a part of a dear friend's B'day Bash last Sunday at Kochi. Dining at Kochi was one of the, if not THE, most memorable experience ever. We were totally floored by the exquisite food - and service - provided by Chef and Owner Mr. Jebu Matthew and his team. From the cool berry drink and amazing classic South Indian appetizers, to the numerous - and for us, many new - items that kept appearing in front of us almost magically during the main meal, served in the traditional South Indian style (on banana leaves), right through the delectable halwa and delicious jaggery rice payasam (desserts), we could feel the love and careful attention with which each item was prepared and pride with which each item was served. Plus, being served by Mr. Matthew himself was, in and of itself, humbling. He patiently explained the intricacies of each delicacy which helped us understand the complexity of the cuisine's varied flavors. To be actually seated (for hours) and served at the table greatly enhanced the culinary experience. We have rarely, if ever, felt that we have consumed a feast - but now, can proudly say so - because of Mr. Matthew and our experience at Kochi. “If you’re looking for a truly unforgettable meal, Toscano in Bordentown, NJ is the kind of place that sets the bar. I finally got to try it after hearing rave reviews, and let me tell you—it absolutely lived up to the hype.

Yes, it’s a bit pricey, but the flavors, the quality, and the whole experience are worth every penny. This isn’t food you can recreate at home. The service was incredibly fast and attentive, without ever feeling rushed. Our server knew the menu inside and out and helped guide us to what ended up being one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time.

Let’s talk food. The root beer pork chop—I’m still thinking about it. This is no ordinary pork chop. It was so tender I could almost cut it with a fork, and somehow, it was juicier than any steak I’ve had. The flavor was out of this world—sweet, smoky, and savory in perfect harmony. Paired with a side of their French Onion Soup, heaven is right around the corner with this combo. If you go, do not skip this.

That said, the steaks here are also incredible—some of the best you’ll find within a 30-minute drive, easy. They come out sizzling on a 500-degree plate, perfectly seared and full of bold, beefy flavor from their in-house dry aging.

And then… the butter cake. I honestly think it might be the best dessert I’ve ever had. It comes out warm, with a creamy, cinnamon-kissed richness that’s so intense, it’s almost too decadent to eat alone. (But that didn’t stop me from trying.)

Because Toscano is that good, it gets busy—so definitely make a reservation if you’re planning ahead. If not, the bar area is a great backup for a more casual visit, and the food is just as amazing.

Bottom line: Toscano is worth the trip, the price, and the planning. It’s that kind of special-occasion place that delivers every single time.“

The caldo gallego (soup with greens, pork, white beans & potatoes), sopa pescado (seafood soup), chicken paella, pulpo (octopus with vegetables), and torta dessert were all fantastic! The chef clearly loves what they do and you can taste it! Great service too! Better than the Spanish restaurants in NYC, N. NJ & Philly and very reasonably priced! Can't wait to go back!!“

“This place has really gone down hill. I think the reason they keep it open is because it’s right across from the movie theater and they have a captive audience. Most of the time, you can walk right in and sit, but the good times end there. Usually, they take forever with orders, the food comes out wrong or has been sitting in the window for 10 minutes and comes out like something from Wawa’s hot and ready food by the checkout. The waiters typically look like they’re running around blindfolded serving 20 tables on their own even though nobody is there. The drinks are yummy like Willy Wonka Made them, and I like the brownies and Jack Daniel’s chicken even if they don’t call it Jack Daniel’s anymore. At least they serve food late unlike the tavern downtown. Five stars.“

We opted for sandwiches. 2 ordered the roast pork, broccoli rabe, sharp provolone and both finished and raved how delicious 😋 Other 2 of us ordered the cheesesteak with LTO, red wine vinegar and olive oil, I added light mayo. The rolls these sandwiches were served were fantastic 😋 The sammies were NOT "packed" with fillings like a cheesesteak joint. Nicely presented with homemade potato chips. Quality of ingredients is huge because I can't eat a lot. The red wine vinegar and olive oil was top notch. I use red wine vinegar almost daily 😋 I would definitely go back for the same meal, about 1hr from my home and worth the trip 😋“
