Jo Ann's Pizza & Restaurant II

This new Italian restaurant in Mays Landing is fabulous. The food and presentation were excellent, the atmosphere was appealing, and the service was caring.

My wife and I had the chopped salad and butternut squash ravioli as appetizers. Both were unique and delicious, and their presentation was exactly like the pictures.

Our entrees were shellfish pomodoro and linguini with clams. The pasta was homemade and the sauce perfectly spiced. The shellfish was fresh and extremely tasty. We cannot wait to try other entrees.

We strongly urge you to try Carmella’s. You will be pleased with the experience.

This new restaurant, which officially opens next week, is phenomenal! My family had the opportunity to enjoy five appetizers and four entrées, and we were blown away! It’s incredible that a restaurant with this quality of food and an atmosphere you usually only find in big city, is available in our little town. As if the exquisite made to order meals weren’t enough, the hospitality was also outstanding. I hope everyone takes the time to enjoy a delicious meal in this wonderful environment. We can’t wait to go back once they officially open.

I have eaten at Jo-Ann’s many times over the years. My grandmother use to own the house right next door. I don’t eat there as much now but when I am in the area I try to stop in for some food. The owners are very nice I have talked to them many times and every time it’s a pleasure.I went in today April 17th and got myself a white pizza with broccoli. The pizza was as good as always. I think they could have put a little more broccoli on it but it was good regardless. They also do charge a 10% fee on the total of your order to help offset the rising costs. I don’t necessarily agree with this but it is posted as you walk in to let you know. I recommend Jo-Ann’s if your looking for good pizza.

We waited almost an hour for our food because the restaurant had take-out at the same time that we were there. My sons chicken was tough and the shrimp also had no taste and was not good. We went there for years, but will not go back. For over $60 for two, we should have had a better meal. Very disappointed in how we were treated.
