A group of us met here for a birthday celebration. Foid was great, and so were the drinks. It was a mix of bar type foods with some higher end choices. Good, cheerful service. We really enjoyed! We will return!
Stopped in to try out the Taste of AC lunch menu and it did not disappoint! For $20, I got to enjoy a crock of French onion soup, the smoked BBQ chicken cheesesteak sandwich, and s'mores bread pudding. It was so delicious and so much, that I took home leftovers! Getting to try courses I wouldn't normally order made me realize how good the food is and I don't come to Freddy J's often enough. Amazing food and conveniently located. Don't pass this up!

Freddy J's Bar & Kitchen is a hidden gem worth discovering. Despite its unassuming exterior, the inside is beautifully decorated and welcoming. The food truly stands out with dishes like the Poke Bowl, prime rib sandwich, short rib macaroni and cheese, short rib burger, fried cheese curds, French onion soup, meatloaf, and burnt end cheesesteak. Recently, customers raved about the smoked honey hot garlic parm wings, which are made special with a smoky flavor that elevates them above regular fried wings – a perfect 10/10. The brisket cheesesteak also received praise for its tender brisket and delicious Cooper Sharp cheddar cheese, though some found it just okay. The friendly service, especially from Jeff, who was attentive and gave great recommendations, enhances the experience. The owner’s plans for future improvements suggest even better times ahead. Overall, Freddy J's is a must-visit for great food, cozy atmosphere, and excellent service that encourages repeat visits.
