“The new menu with Authentic Mexican Food was a nice surprise! The service was excellent very friendly and outgoing. Still a great local bar ambiance just a different menu. Not typical bar food but still excellent! Tacos and burritos were all very good.“
“My boy Dill from Bridgeton put me onto to Jonesy's several years ago, I am from North Jersey (Irvington) and had no clue. This spot was not fancy, in fact, was like a country Juke Joint, but everybody was friendly and really hospitable. The energy was positive and everyone was , keeping themselves safe, the music was blues and soulful, and best of all the garlic crabs are incredible !!! They have a large bar to savor your alcoholic taste, pool table, screen tv's, and lounge areas to seduce your interest, and the vibe was very welcoming as we were socially distant and all wore masked unless we were eating. The crabs are rockin as Ms Dee is still doing her thing you herd ! Come in a sweat suit, jeans, or something relaxed fellas you will thank me later, the next time I go I will need to bring a bib. In this era, I don't get out much, but this spot is a must visit.“
“The International Cuisine was a refreshing addition to the South Jersey Shore. I was particularly impressed with the multi-lingual bar-keep. She gave great advice on the full breadth of the menu (I think her name was Mar Knee? Top notch!). Anywho she made a culinary tour that much more enjoyable.“
“Freddy J’s elevates the concept of a gastropub in South Jersey. The constant refinement of the menu and the creativity of Grant, the owner, continues to move the menu forward. This is not a stop along the way, Freddy J’s is a destination. You will not be disappointed.“
