“I photographed a wedding here back when it was known as Martell's Waters Edge and the location was incredibly epic! At every turn I had incredibly scenic locations to provide my couple with epic photos (see attached).In addition the staff was super friendly and helpful as well as the food was really amazing! Everyone was enjoying it!I highly recommend this location if you have a wedding or event!“
“Thankfully we got a table as walk ins, but the place was pretty busy. It’s a very beach vibe and the menu reflects all of the summer favorites. We got the Korean wings and avocado fries for starters. The wings were good, but I would pass on the avocado fries. I decided to take a chance and go for the tuna bowl. To my surprise, the tuna was delicious. The rice was cooked perfectly and it filled me up. My boyfriend got the double burger and he could barely finish it. His only commentary was that the waffle fries were trash.“
“Table 13 with JanineLadies and Gentlemen,This is still a service industry. We couldn't have been reminded of this more until we had dinner tonight. We love Shady Rest for the food(any chicken or fried scallops should always be considered) but for the most part, the dining experience has usually been random, at best. Tonight, we had the pleasure of being seated in Janine's section, and we've never had a finer experience at Shady Rest. Janine was The Best! Everything came out correctly and we never waited for a refill. We will be back soon on a Saturday night to sit in Janine's section.“
“Had the pleasure of having brunch here for Easter. Great set up. Lots of great dishes with Prime Rib and ham ( both cooked perfectly ) on the carving station. Salmon and mussels were fantastic. Pastas were great. Server ( Masha )was so sweet and efficient. Can’t wait until next year!“
