This was a new stop for me. To show off Mays Landing. What a decent place to stop at. Food was fresh hot and got to watch the chef cook. Like the set up and atmosphere staff was in good vibe mode!
I was last in Johnnie's a long, long time ago. My wife and I have wanted to stop for many years, and we finally did last Wednesday, on our way to Somers Point/Ocean City for a vacation.. It was just like I remember it from about 1978. I had a Diet Pepsi and a "Fun Guy Burger" with chips and pickles. My wife had a Diet Pepsi and a Patty Melt, which was the special. She thought it was great, and was also served with chips and pickles, which we both loved. Simple,...
Typical diner but prepared better than most. Walked in was busy but hostess found me a spot immediately. Waitress didn't bother me while eating but made sure my coffee was filled. Definitely am coming back.
