After a disappointing visit to the Bala Cynwood location of this chain, I wasn’t sure what to expect—but I’m so glad we gave it another shot. From the moment I walked in, the staff at Longhorns in Hamilton Market Place, made a huge difference. The service was outstanding: friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Arielle went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and well taken care of. The food came out promptly and exactly as we ordered! Arielle checked in a couple of times to make sure everything was perfect. It was clear that customer satisfaction is a top priority here, and it somewhat restored my faith in the Longhorns brand. Huge kudos to the team at this location—they truly set the standard for great service. We’ll definitely be returning to this location, and recommending this spot to others! The management team here could teach the team at Bala how customer service should look. The employees in Hamilton were all wearing neat and clean black uniforms with their hair neatly groomed. I do believe they had on name tags, not 100% sure. We were truly blown away by the pleasant atmosphere from beginning to end!
The burger was not good, The chemical tasting roll ruined it. Server was fantastic maybe I'll try something else.

The server was helpful. The food was prepared correctly with good flavor, and the prices are fair. I have been here quite a few times, and I look forward to my next visit

Hmmm. Well shrimp and lobster is a soup. For appetizer.. ordered bone in ribeye. No problem. Received just the ribeye. Ok. Steak cooked very good but the seasoning was like Cajun. Didn't order Cajun Seemed like I was waiting . I made contact to continue my experience. Interesting!

Very disappointed. Visited the restaurant and accidentally left my sons glass mam baby bottle on the table. We got to the Walmart in the area and realized I never picked the bottle up from the table, we went right back--not even 30 mins and was told there was no bottle. I know they threw it out. It's very disappointing considering how expensive glass baby bottles are. We were there at around 3pm, couldve atleast given us a chance to return for the bottle.

I ordered the Longhorn steak, and I was expecting it to be juicy. Unfortunately, there weren't any juices inside the meat. While it still tasted fine, I was a bit disappointed because the missing juices affected my overall satisfaction with the meal.

Food isn't so good. I was able to eat maybe 3 pcs of the fried okra. I ordered medium rare and got well done, but the server asked about it and offered a new steak. This time it was better. Service is great, the place is really clean and has a very nice vibe. I love that there's a retail store too, it's very interesting.

I just got the wrong cut of steak AND missing a side, I will be back tomorrow to reconcile
I ordered the Longhorn steak (porterhouse), but it was overcooked. I sent it back and was pleased with the new one. I like their seasoning, although it's a bit heavy-handed.
Everything else was good, and the price was decent. I'd go again; it's my favorite family-style steak restaurant.

We used to love Longhorn! After 43 years I f marriage, I saw my husband send back a rare steak for being too rare. It was raw. The cook took the steak and barely cooked it again. My husband thought it was microwaved but no one does that to a steak, do they? They threw his onions(cold) on top of it I ordered my filet med rare. It, too, was rare. I took mine home and ate the salad and sweet potato! I don’t like to send things back. For $120, this is unacceptable our waiter, Joseph, was wonderful. It’ll be a wrong time before we go back there. Sad

Waiter was horrible. Must have been new. Never asked if we needed anything. Asked for a refill on my drink and he brought a loaf of bread and no drink. Have never waited this long for a meal, 25 minutes. It would have been different if he had come to the table and asked us if we needed anything or your meal will be out shortly but no interaction at all. We have never had a bad meal here before so this was very enlightening. Our appetizer was cold and he told us he thought someone else brought it out. Did you ever think to check on us. Yes, it’s New Years Eve but we got there at 3:45 and didn’t get home till 6:00. Never had I had an experience like this. Will not be going back any time soon.

This is a casual family-oriented restaurant themed around the Wild West, with lots of love put into the decor. There are large paintings of canyons and sprawling landscapes, as well as some portraits of cowboys and Native Americans, plus some deer heads. There's a chandelier made of fake antlers. The place is visually impressive and on theme, with dim, warm lighting and country and old rock music. The music was just a touch loud, but not too bad. It's perfect for bringing the whole family, although you can certainly bring your friends too.
We were served some bread and butter to start. Unfortunately, we were told they don't have butter knives, so we did have to use the provided steak knives (which are very hefty - great for steak, a bit less so for the little butter bowls). They're high-quality steak knives, though.
We decided to go straight into the mains and have a Longhorn Steak (their signature porterhouse) and a Flo's Filet (another signature dish). The porterhouse leaked a fair bit of blood despite being medium rare (not rare, for which I do expect blood), and was done on a grill, based on the char pattern. It unfortunately tasted rather bland without the steak sauce, which was rather strong. I'm not sure if the steak was marinated or seasoned much. I would have liked to use a different knife from the one covered in butter from earlier.
The Flo's Filet was great, though. It was done in a pan, so no char pattern. It was very strong on the peppercorn seasoning, but at least you don't need sauce. I personally take no issue with peppercorn, so I was very happy with it. It was soft and tender, and only leaked a tiny bit of blood (which is what I expect for medium rare). I do appreciate that all the hot dishes were served in warm plates and bowls, so nothing cooled down too quickly.
We ordered mashed potatoes and mac n cheese on the side. While the mash was amazing, the mac was not my favorite. I'm just picky with the cheeses I like in my mac, though - I think kids would love it.
For dessert, we had a stunning chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream and caramel syrup drizzled on top. It was big- great for sharing - and delicious. The size meant there's a generous amount of lava, which is my favorite part.
We had two servers - we had Anayah, as well as the person who was training her. Anaya was lovely - always very sweet and quick to meet our requests and answer our questions, and very patient as we took some time to peruse the menu. I think she'll do really well here. She also didn't appear phased by the dinner rush at all, which is impressive.
However, my dad felt like the trainer didn't seem to want to be here, which was my feeling as well, and he seemed to get annoyed by anything we asked (e.g. asking for butter knives, or if there's normal lemonade rather than raspberry and strawberry lemonade, or asking for sharing plates when they weren't provided).
And I get it - it's the holidays, it's natural to want to be at home instead of at work. However, I feel our questions were reasonable, and we never pushed the point. We always just said, "Okay, that's fine, thank you." Being frazzled during the dinner rush is expected, but I feel the trainer's attitude veered more into the "I am annoyed by you personally" territory, which was new for us, and a bit unpleasant.
Overall, I think it's okay for the price point. I haven't tried all the steakhouses in the area yet, so until I do, I won't be able to say whether this is the best local steakhouse. I've been to some steakhouses a bit further out (maybe half an hour drive) at a similar price point with better food, though, so make of that what you will.
I'm giving a rather grudging three, because the filet, mashed potatoes, and lava cake were delicious,

The bread was hard and not enjoyable.I ordered the Tonions and Full rack of ribs with a loaded baked potato. The Tonions are delicious. The ribs were too salty. That's the only seasoning that was put on the ribs. Even the baked potato wasnt good. Something was off with it. I didn't have a great experience at this location.
