The food was ok had chili cutlets with arugula the arugula was dry no dressings except for balsamic glaze that is not dressing just a little drizzle the cutlets were good but not much flavor to it loved the salad that comes with the meals and bread was good it was freezing cold in there that it made it uncomfortable it was so cold just be sure you take a heavy sweater with you

We have eaten here many times as the food was delicious and the service was average. One of my favorite things is the garlic bread and the all you can eat salad. Highly recommend the calamari as the app and the broiled scallops are really good. Everything was fresh and well prepared.
The one major negative is the price of the wine. I find it ridiculous that a glass of wine is $13 and a can of beer $8. This is the price you pay in Margate, Atlantic City and other island...

We always have a great experience at Maplewood. We love Meg and the young man who was our server on our last visit was great as well. I'm usually great with names but I do know he's a new dad! (Yay!!) We enjoy the scallops and crabs and the homemade pasta is fantastic. We aren't fans of the red gravy so we stick with white or scampi and it's a hit every time!
