This is a local, family run business that truly cares about spreading the love through fun, mellow experiences on a gorgeous stretch of the Great Egg Harbor River. The visionary founders, Mike and Bert, not only deeply love the river and spreading smiles, but protect swaths of the globally threatened Atlantic White Cedar forests and the wildlife therein, and continue to provide skilled multi tool services to ensure everything is functional and aesthetical. Maritza is the friendly manager, who always has a smile and passionate diligence in her quest for fully satisfied and happy customers. Dan, the kind and conscientious river man, keeps solid tabs on the floating/paddling customers, runs river trash removal and river elf operations. Y'all, there's lots of rare wildlife here, please please pack it in and pack it out. Oh and their white pizza, don't even get me started.

Cheesesteak and BBQ burger are a must. Me and my brother shared each and the flavor is amazing 😁. I'm going to Start coming here as much as possible . Also the fried pickles are slamming. FYI the photos are what was leftover from being full. Probably end up finishing mine soon as I get home

Nope, not anymore.... you lost me and my friends and my whole family. You keep raising your prices. $25 just to transport my personal kayak for a five to ten min ride? Like seven years ago when we started using this company, it was only $8 each. The higher you raised the prices, the less we stopped and ate at your restaurant. You went from two people paying $16 up to $50 for a trip. Plus, there has been less and less upkeep on the property and along the river.

The 6 kayaks we rented were missing foot brace/pegs and the backstraps on the seats were busted.. disappointing because we love kayaking. Also, no reminders to collect your license at the end- so don't forget (like I did)!

My family and I decided to do something different for the summer and go canoeing. We never did it before but thought it would be fun. Everyone agreed on doing the 4 mile course and ohhhhh boy you’re in for a ride. During the course, there was unkept trees going across the path making you have to duck. If you’re inexperienced go slow or else you will get stuck multiple times and it’s not fun getting out of. I personally thought it was really dangerous because no workers were there to make sure you were safe. Overall, it was definitely an experience and can be viewed as fun and adventurous or nightmarish and horrid.

Went tubing with my 10 year old. $30/per tube rental per person CASH ONLY.
Just show up when you want to go tubing/kayaking
they don’t take reservations. Kids must be at least 5 yrs old but they don’t check dob. Waivers are provided online or at check in per person. BRING DRIVERS LICENSE. It is required that they hold your license until you get back from the river. They will drive you and your group in a mini van to the beginning of the river which is about a 3 minute drive. They provide life vests and you can bring your own tube but I wouldn’t recommend that due to hitting so many branches it would pop. We chose the pink tubes with no hole in the middle with a backrest. We thought they were very comfortable for the 2 hour and 45 min trip down the river. It was very serene but you MUST pay attention to your whereabouts on the river because sharp sticks and branches will catch you on the head. I bumped my head hard on a tree branch overhanging very low to the water at one point when my tube started floating backwards. The river gets super shallow and very deep throughout. If it rains with lightning they don’t force you out of the river. I recommend bringing a change of dry clothes, we changed in the restaurant restroom and had lunch indoors. Their homemade mozzarella sticks were really good. ? I can’t wait to go tubing again.
I wish I brought some snacks and water with us on the tube. Water shoes would be good and some rope to tie them together but luckily ours had rope already on the handles.

Love it here. Super Busy so recommend getting there early. Cash only and they do charge a drop fee if you bring your own kayak. Wouldn’t bring young kids on the longer kayak trek. Everyone that helps is nice. Bathrooms inside don’t work so hot. There is a port o potty outside too but no bathroom on the route so you know!

Pizza is pretty good too.

Have been coming here for at least 11 years.

Intentionally I would’ve said this place is the best!! But after today,! I feel not so much!! We were told we couldn’t use our own tube tht carried 4-5 adults but were confronted by a party of 4 with a MINI pool tube that carried 4., when asked about such, I was told “they slipped by” without no remorse to the patrons that pay to conduct rules to ensure a great experience.. We were not given such!!!!! The man was basically just like “OH well” but it’s not oh well when you paid same price as EVERYONE ELSE!!

So nice especially on a hot day. It usually takes me a minute to get in cold, cold water, but it was so hot and it didn't seem like the spring type cold water. It was a fun slow chill ride and very nice people. We actually met some of the other visitors and now, will be good friends. If you're in a group it's nice to make sure you have rope. They were running low. We were lucky to have gotten a few pieces so we could flow down together. By yourself is just as beautiful and peaceful. It was a 10 all around. Definitely coming back. Sorry I had music on the phone in a dry bag so I didn't get good pictures of being on the river. So a dry bag is a must!! if you want to keep something from getting wet. Also you can bring a cooler! ?
The restaurant sells canned alcohol and little bottles of liquor and wine I believe!!! I added a four pack of this raspberry sunrise or sunset something like that but it was a vodka/ tea drink. It was very nice. Not too strong. They have original and peach . I asked the sweet girl working (who I unfortunately forgot her name)she recommended the raspberry. It was smooth and not to sweey. Almost like a seltzer but not that much. I believe the alcohol content was 4.9 . So not too strong at all. The food smelled amazing but we had eaten right before. Others were buying and chowing down. Seemed as like they enjoyed it A Lot. I saw them chowing down on pizza mostly. They do have a bigger selection.

Parking: Just a huge dirt parking area. ( That's where we and most others parked ). There is a concrete parking lot in front of the building/ restaurant. Plenty of room.

Kid-friendliness: The kids loved it but they are in their early teens, so they didn't want to swim much. I'm 5'3 I could touch the bottom most of the time without getting over my head. Some spots may be a little deeper and a few spots very shallow. Lots of shade spots and lots of sun spots. So about even. I'd bring sunblock if you burn just in case.â˜ș

Wheelchair accessibility: They had stairs on one side of the entrance and a ramp on the other for wheelchairs, or whatever else you may me to drag like coolers.
