The Staff at Rat's is outstanding. Nick, our waiter was fun, gracious, and wonderful. Our server was very considerate. The concierge David remembered our note that my husband was celebrating his birthday, and he receive a complimentary piece of chocolate banana cake and coffee ice cream. His french onion soup and artic char were savory and seasoned with care. My marinated anchovy ceasar salad and chicken croque monsieur with small salad were wonderful... we ate some for dinner...
Rats Restaurant - Grounds for Sculpture was a great experience. From walking-in, checking-in and throughout our early dinner the staff was great. We love the ambiance; however, for me personally, I wish the music was a bit louder as it was too soft for me. The decor, the service and the food were better than what we had expected. Following our dinner, the maître d' and the wait staff invited us to explore the entire restaurant and bar area. We can't wait to go back...
The menu every year has less and less options which is disappointing. Croque monsieur edges of the bread was hard and value wise regretted ordering it. A few more options on the menu will keep me coming back as a customer.
