The Inn at Sugar Hill

Dined at Sugar Hill by the water last night for the first time. Service and food was excellent, ambiance was nice. I thought it would be nice if they had little lights at the tables and maybe a fire pit. Sugar Hill is like the Hamptons, from the stately inn to the valet parking definitely will return.

My sister had her wedding at Sugar Hill this weekend, and it was absolutely amazing! Even with the intense summer heat, everything was beautifully set up and ran so smoothly. The staff went above and beyond. They were attentive, kind, and always ready to help. The food was delicious, drinks were refreshing, and the upstairs suite where we got ready was both stunning and (thankfully) wonderfully air-conditioned lol. The view was beautiful, especially at sunset, and the kids kept themselves occupied in the sand area! I have been a Mays Landing resident my whole life, and I can confidently say that Sugar Hill is such a gem, especially during the summer! Highly recommend! 10/10!

Attended a surprise birthday party here tonight. Jodi Lynn was the best! Pop up storm? No problem...reseat a 16 person reservation? No problem. We have attended weddings, bridal showers, and sometimes just a pit stop. The food incredible. The service impeccable, and if you have any issue, Jodi Lynn can solve it. Hands down one of the treasures of our county. They embrace the heritage and keep the amenities in this century. Thus is where you go when you want a great meal or event with the highest quality and the BEST service. Period

Burger was delicious, but boyfriend had a cheese steak, but the bread was too hard to eat. When we said something about the bread, they gave us a discount. Definitely a stand up place and 4 stars

Outside bar is awesome and the view but I felt like I was being ignored by the owner’s daughter because she is spoon feed, she doesn’t even want to serve anyone unless you’re a regular there, I video her standing there for 4 minutes didn’t even look back to see if you want another drink, the staff needs to get with the program this is a business, treat it like a business

Had the most wonderful dinner tonight celebrating our son’s graduation! From the attentiveness of the general manager, the courteous and thoughtful waitress and the fabulous food we couldn’t have asked for a better dinner! We Highly recommend The Inn at Sugar Hill for your next special occasion dinner or just a night out!

Hosted an event at the Inn the the waitstaff was EXCEPTIONAL!!! Very accommodating, kind and had an additional to detail. The owners were so accommodating and allowed us free range of the entire restaurant! Food was great, highly impressed by our local mays landing Restaurant!! Thank you❤️❤️❤️

A peaceful and authentic place to stay. Kind, wonderful employees who are very customer centric. Our dinner tasted phenomenal with a fun ambiance by the water of uplifting live music and the frogs and fireflies singing along.

Great food and great service! Just held a client event here and all my guests raved about the tasty food. The wait staff and bartender were fantastic. But Jodi went above and beyond for us. I highly recommend!

Just had my wedding there and I can’t think of anything that I didn’t like or went wrong. From the staff to the bridal suit and everything in between exceeded my expectations! The staff was beyond exceptional and helpful. They made sure my day was nothing short of perfect and I can’t thank them all enough. Jody is amazing also ! Definitely recommend and can’t come back for some dinner and drinks soon !

What a beautiful place! The Inn itself is a lovely attraction but the food and people make it an incredible experience. Girls’ night out found us having dinner at the Inn during AC restaurant week. The menu offered a lot of variety. We started out with the hush puppies with homemade honey butter and salad. We wanted to take home the left over butter. Delicious!
We shared the salmon dish and the hanger steak dish. Both were wonderful and the vegetables accompanying the dishes were fresh and creative.
Final piece de resistance was dessert. The homemade cheese pie by the owner had us scraping the plate clean. The apple pie a la mode had the best topping I’ve had on an apple pie.
We spoke with the friendly and obviously caring innkeepers through your meal. You could tell the place is a true labor of love. Cannot wait to bring my husband next time.

The Inn at Sugar Hill Dockside is a fantastic choice for lunch or dinner. Service was amazing, the view was serene, and we had some of the best food I’ve found locally.
