Hello. I’m the guy who’s DoorDashed the same breakfast sandwich nearly every day for the past year. You might never see my face, but know this: I appreciate you, chef. Never change.

I grew up with Gem’s in the Burg- these are the absolute BEST bagels by far!!! I can’t wait to visit this summer and get my fix 🥯 ❤️

I had a really disappointing experience with this place. When I called to place my order, the person on the phone was extremely rude and rushed me off, barely letting me speak. It felt like I was being a bother just for trying to order breakfast.

To make matters worse, when my mother went to pick up the food, she was treated even more disrespectfully. She was yelled at to close the deli refrigerator door—apparently it was broken, but she didn’t know—and instead of being understanding, they laughed at her in a mean-spirited, conniving way. That’s completely unacceptable behavior toward any customer, especially someone just picking up food.

We were excited to support a local business, but after this experience, we won’t be returning. I hope management addresses the attitude and professionalism of the staff, because no one deserves to be treated this way.

Foods good but they get the order wrong at least half of the time I go there.

My daily go to! Everything & Cinnamon Raisin bagels are excellent. Speedy service, super friendly staff. Great iced coffee too.

Food is good however they never get the orders correct. 3 times on the phone and one time in person the order was asked and it was still wrong. Last week I was out on hold on the phone and they forgot I was on hold. Then they left the phone off the hook for at least an hour after.

This will be the last time I’m at gems. I’ll be taking a ride to bagel boyz on Holmdel/Bethany Road from now on

I'm sorry, I feel bad for the low rating, but we clearly asked for "no cheese" and still got cheese (dietary issue), the sandwiches weren't cut all the way through, it seemed like the eggs were soaked in canola oil, the sandwiches were wrapped sloppy, and the sandwiches fell apart before getting two bites in.

For $18.25 for two sandwiches and one water, it would be nice to be able to hold and eat the sandwich.

Dietary restrictions: Asked for no cheese, but still got cheese.

Parking: 15 minute parking in the front, dine-in parking in the back.

Today is the last time I will be getting food at Gem's. It has become a regular occurrence to visit the store a be told they do not have the items to make what I wanted to order, standard items described on the menu. Add in the escalation of prices for what Gem's is serving and this place is not worth as there are many other superior bagel shops in the area.

One last comment, buyer beware at this store. They have removed all prices from the menu boards in the store and from their printed menu. It now states on the menu "Hours & Prices Vary By Location Subject to Change" No Thanks Gem's, if I want to play pricing roulette I will take a ride down to an AC casino
