“You can always judge a classic take-out Chinese spot by two things: a sun-faded overhead menu and a kid behind the counter doing homework. The new Mr. Wonton may not have the discolored menu yet—but they do have a little boy at the counter, so they’re definitely on the right track!

The food is okay—not terrible, not amazing. I ordered the General Tso’s Chicken. My only real complaint (and this applies to a lot of take-out Chinese places) is the packaging. The plastic containers are incredibly shallow now (see picture). We’re paying more and getting less! Bring back the old, deeper containers and keep the price the same.

The service is solid. The young guy working the counter on a busy Saturday night was cranking out orders as fast as he could. He handled the rush really well—props to him.

The atmosphere is your typical take-out spot. On my last visit, it looked like they were putting up new chalkboard menus. And if the little kid is there, be ready for some chit-chat—he’s quite the talker (in a good way).

In conclusion, it’s not bad. I’d order from them again—but give it a try yourself and see what you think!“

“Last night, for my birthday, we had what I have to call a perfect, and perfectly delicious meal. You can’t take a picture of an experience, but if there were a way, we would have tried. My fettuccine Bolognese was a detailed joy, yielding a world of varied delights in every bite. Even the radicchio and endive salad… one of those textured, flavorful events where you close your eyes and savor every each mouthful. I could go on and on… but I’m still busy savoring. Gorgeous setting, roomy comfort, delightful servers and employees… and the bank does not break. You’d pay 100 or 150% more in the city to even come close.“

“From the moment we walked in, the host greeted us like old friends and walked us right to our table — I instantly had a good feeling, and I was right. Our server was awesome — super friendly, knew the menu inside out, and was on top of everything all night.

The menu is classic Italian but with a twist — way more interesting than your standard North Jersey Italian spot. The ossobuco was fantastic (if I had to nitpick, I’d say the risotto could’ve used a touch less water and a heavier hand with the parm). The clams were fresh and baked to perfection, and my son devoured his ravioli. For dessert, the bread pudding was absolutely unreal — honestly worth the trip alone.

“Taco Tuesday is real real tasty , I love the pork and the shrimp tacos. the burgers are delicious , they cook them just the way you like them , onion rings yum yum , Thursdays is prime rib night … cooked to perfection, different sides to choose from , I always get the baked potatoe and the salad it comes with … is real good also , ya gotta try it. Oh I forgot Greg is a great bartender.“

They have a great selection of gourmet pizzas too. The online system is also super convenient and the delivery is always fast and the driver friendly. “Amazing food, service, and atmosphere. The restaurant is small and full of charm, with beautiful artwork on the walls. We were given a really warm welcome and very attentive service. It is clear that the people who work here take great pride in the restaurant - as they should, and care about their customers. My friend and I opted for the prix fixe menu and started with a caesar salad and cheese plate - which were excellent. For the entree I highly recommend the sable fish - like cod, except silky! I had the lemon dessert which was amazing! I cannot say enough nice things about our experience. We were really spoiled by the service and gourmet food. I can't wait to go back! Thank you!“

We came and tried food and drinks, and every person we encountered were extremely nice and helpful. They helped us every step of the way. The options we had for the food was amazing. We got to customize it to how we wanted and then pick a very nice drink package. The pricing was outstanding. They helped with the set up and take down of the wedding and honestly helped us with every little detail. We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding day or a better venue for our special day. “If you want a slice of pepperoni, they take a plain slice, apply pepperoni pieces on top, then heat it until the pepperoni is melted into the cheese. Definitely one of the outstanding slices in the area. Nice, old fashioned Baker's Pride oven, too. Not many of them left.

Since the day it opened, to the new present owners...its has been true to the authentic Latin cuisine that is part of my cultura. Valentino, and his attentive staff offers their best service to their customers. But that is just part of it. I've been in this community for over 30+years. There are a lot of amazing restaurants in our town. But Coquito is close to my heart. Our new mental health organization, Warwick Cares, recently held a fundraiser hosted at Coquitos. It was phenomenal. Valentino, Zori, and staff went out of their way to open the doors, and make sure that we, and our guests were accommodated with all that was needed for it to be a successful event. We felt like family. It was our first fundraiser, but for them it was one of many which they helped in the community, as they did for the Puerto Rico disaster relief efforts. A notworthy mention because in Warwick, we value relationships and trust. Coquito is what I call full service restaurant with heart. We are so very grateful for them. I highly recommend Coquitos, a place which serves delicious food with a side of love and compassion. They happily display some of our signs that say " You, are loved." and there is "Hope"... messages that are part of our initiatives. When you go, please thank them for us as well, for supporting this important cause for mental health.
