“Last night we did the 7-course chef’s tasting menu with wine pairing at Restaurant Latour at Crystal Springs Resort. In my opinion, this is easily one of the best restaurants in Sussex County.

The wine pairings were very well done and thoughtfully matched to each course. You could tell a lot of effort went into balancing the flavors and overall experience. Some dishes were outstanding and really memorable, while others were good but did not have the same wow factor.

You can definitely see that the restaurant is striving for a Michelin-level dining experience. The presentation, creativity, and overall atmosphere are there, although there are still some areas that could be elevated further.

The setting was beautiful, especially watching the sunset during dinner. Pricing was about what you would expect for this type of experience.

The biggest thing holding the evening back was service staffing. The staff was polite and professional, but the dining room felt understaffed at times, which created gaps in service that took away from the overall flow of the evening.

Overall, we had a very enjoyable experience and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a high-end dining experience in Sussex County.“

“TLDR: Top tier brisket. Nearly as good as Texas brisket and certainly best I have had in New Jersey thus far. The hidden restaurant in the middle of a garden is so quaint and peaceful, I recommend going for lunch or a cozy dinner. View of the surrounding hills is also amazing.

Quality of Food: I had no complaints about the food. The garden salad was refreshing and did not lack in its flavor. The brisket was AMAZING. If you look at my other reviews, you will find I am originally from the south and have frequented a few BBQ places in New Jersey, all of which have fallen short of what I have come to find as quality BBQ. This. Did. Not. Disappoint. The brisket was slightly marbled and melted in your mouth. I can only imagine the quality of the Rib Steak if the brisket was top notch. The cornbread was the only thing I could say was standard taste and quality.

Quality of Service: It was neither over-the top nor mediocre service. Seemed like a decent amount of young adults were waiting on tables. We stopped in for a quick bite before heading to a festival, but we had no issues getting our order taken, food delivered and check processed quickly.

Environment & Ambiance: Can't be compared to the other locations at the resort. The garden by itself is adorable and makes you feel like you're in a storybook. Looking out towards the hills provides a feeling of awe. The outside ambiance and cute tables and chairs makes you feel like you're joining Alice at a tea party.

Pricing and Concerns: It's certainly not cheap if you are ordering their higher priced options. However, that being said, it is most definitely worth every penny. Not to mention you're at a resort, so what would you expect besides expensive dishes? For a party of two you can keep it under $$$. Add drinks or an extra person and you're going over. No other concerns to note.

“You can always judge a classic take-out Chinese spot by two things: a sun-faded overhead menu and a kid behind the counter doing homework. The new Mr. Wonton may not have the discolored menu yet—but they do have a little boy at the counter, so they’re definitely on the right track!

The food is okay—not terrible, not amazing. I ordered the General Tso’s Chicken. My only real complaint (and this applies to a lot of take-out Chinese places) is the packaging. The plastic containers are incredibly shallow now (see picture). We’re paying more and getting less! Bring back the old, deeper containers and keep the price the same.

The service is solid. The young guy working the counter on a busy Saturday night was cranking out orders as fast as he could. He handled the rush really well—props to him.

The atmosphere is your typical take-out spot. On my last visit, it looked like they were putting up new chalkboard menus. And if the little kid is there, be ready for some chit-chat—he’s quite the talker (in a good way).

Since the day it opened, to the new present owners...its has been true to the authentic Latin cuisine that is part of my cultura. Valentino, and his attentive staff offers their best service to their customers. But that is just part of it. I've been in this community for over 30+years. There are a lot of amazing restaurants in our town. But Coquito is close to my heart. Our new mental health organization, Warwick Cares, recently held a fundraiser hosted at Coquitos. It was phenomenal. Valentino, Zori, and staff went out of their way to open the doors, and make sure that we, and our guests were accommodated with all that was needed for it to be a successful event. We felt like family. It was our first fundraiser, but for them it was one of many which they helped in the community, as they did for the Puerto Rico disaster relief efforts. A notworthy mention because in Warwick, we value relationships and trust. Coquito is what I call full service restaurant with heart. We are so very grateful for them. I highly recommend Coquitos, a place which serves delicious food with a side of love and compassion. They happily display some of our signs that say " You, are loved." and there is "Hope"... messages that are part of our initiatives. “Best best best. I have given gift cards to 3 or 4 friends in WM (where we never had good food) and this place is so much like China Town NYC. Whoever said it's not hot? It's hot a half hour later, trust me we live a half hour away, piping hot. I have never one time in 100's of time had a bad meal here. Especially love their soups, Ginger Chicken, General Tao, sometimes the boneless ribs are too chewy, but if you ask for them tender and well done, they do that. The soups might be a bit expensive but all else to me, is well deserved and fairly paid.“
