Oh my God so many negative reviews about the customer service and I am here to second that. The older Asian guy needs to be understanding to his customers. He can manage things well but someone needs to tell him to not to be that sharp with customers.

Asian server is abrasive and rude. Please avoid this Carvel like the plague in Highland Park, NJ. My advice find another place. I hope main headquarters sees this review and make changes quickly. Kids should not see or experience this type of behavior. If there was a Negative star I would have given.

I am not sure why this place does not have more 5 star reviews?! The place is kept clean, the prices are great, Carvel ice cream is always good, and the man in the front is honestly refreshing. He doesn't try to act super friendly and welcoming or fake like high schoolers working at other ice cream or frozen yogurt places trying to get tipped. He's not that rude either, honestly a couple of previous reviews were childish and slightly dramatic. I would say he is your old school fellow, but that doesn't have to be negative. Anyways, I'd come back here anytime.

I get three stars, not because the ice cream isn't good, because it is. The guy that works there, an Asian gentleman. He is grumpy and just sort of rude in his actions. I'm not sure he was just old school, or just a rude person in general. He wasn't rude to me, but he was kind of grumpy and stodgy towards other people in the ice cream place. I don't know if he's the owner, or just a worker.The place would do better if someone else were behind the counter, since he is the only one there
I like the owner. Very nice man . No food but all the ice cream you can eat . Hard and soft serve. Frozen cakes are the best !

Worst experience, stupid worker could not write Happy Anniversary on a medium size sheet cake. This place and management is a joke I would not recommend ever going back. This guy working there should go back to school.

Aweful service. They have a $10 minimum card purchase. (Who does that at this day in age.) Their soft serve melts before is in your hand.
