We spent a little over $80 including tip, but my credit card was charged over $100. Can you explain why?

Very authentic Chinese food, serve all the dishes that a homegrown kitchen would. Would recommend if you are taking Chinese elders out to eat.

First time was quite a great experience. Very clean and roomy and nice decor. We tried a variety of dishes and everything was amazing from vegetables, noodles and chicken/beef. Highly recommend.

Service was not too bad. Food came out fast. Place was roomy and neat. But most of the food was way too salty for my taste. Staff doesnt seem too knowledgeable about their dishes.

The fish with sour cabbage in soup was good, a little spicy for us but was very tasty. Dumplings were also fresh

Pleased to find another tasty mapo tofu in the same plaza as another favorite.

I found Chef Ge randomly because I had first went to Xi-an Flavor in the same mall at noon. The person there told me they don’t open until 1pm, so after taking a look on Google and seeing a photo of mapo tofu I decided to give it a chance.

They serve a large bowl of mapo tofu over rice, which comes with a half salty egg. Portion size is nice for the price, which was 11.99. Note you can save some $ by paying cash.

Mapo tofu was flavorful and saucy, as I like it.

They have a large space with an entire other section that looks like it can easily host parties. I’d visit again.

Dan dan noodles were some of the best I’ve had
I loved the fuqi fei pian but hoped it would be less sweet, and also wished there would be some cilantro garnish
Also had some cold chicken which was good!

An OK experience. The meat-stuff pancakes were very good, especially the Homestyle Pancakes w. Braised Pork. Very taste, sadly one of our main dishes was not marked as spicy, but was VERY VERY spicy which wasn't what we'd wanted. Their menu needs an update. The other spicy chicken dish was good, and more tolerable as it used peppercorns.

Service was not the best, with staff being a bit overwhelmed. I think on any other day than the day after Christmas it would have been better.

I did like the iPads for ordering. an OK experience and I'd probably recommend you go, you'll likely have a slightly better experience than I did.

We waited a long time for our foods, while people on surrounding tables who arrived after us were already eating. When the fish stew finally arrived, the setup for the dish (heat burner) was missing, and I had to ask for it. The waiter was callous and rude, he asked "is the stew cold"? I also had to ask for bowls for the stew, and ask for the rice we ordered. Not a word of apology for keeping us wait. Overall unpleasant experience.

The owner lady was busy in the kitchen. She may need to come out of the kitchen from time to time to see what's going on.
