“I love going to Park Deli. The sandwiches are always a great size, with so many options to make it your own and get great food. If you don’t mind spending a little bit more for quality lunch/dinner, this is the place to be. They even have seating inside! Highly recommend the chicken parm sub or the lawyers, my go-tos!

“Someone recommended I come here and try some of the pre-made specialties. It is a small place, but there is no lack in options. Everything really just looked so good, I picked out a few things for me and my son. I picked up some Chicken francese and chicken Marsala, some marinated artichokes and some seafood salad. All of it, DELICIOUS! I have been a chef for many years so I can be picky and I can tell when places cheap out on ingredients. I did not get that vibe from here. I'm pretty sure I could taste the love. Highly Highly recommended“

I tried the 6 inch veggie sandwich. It came fully loaded with fresh veggies and special sauces. Each bite was filled with surprising flavours.

“Sol is one of those rare neighborhood restaurants that really brings a community together. Good food, excellent vibes, and wonderful care and service from the owners and staff is reflected in the many smiling faces I see here every morning, evening, and on the weekends when I pass by.

I finally got the chance to stop in for a proper meal (normally I grab a reasonably priced breakfast sandwich and a coffee here while I'm running for the bus) and I was delighted with my experience. The Sol Breakfast Platter hit the spot with a bold, hot cup of coffee! The music and general vibrancy of the room added to my pleasure of the experience. I look forward to coming back again with my wife in the near future to try out more of the delicious sounding items on the menu!

Parking: Free street parking on Livingston Ave or Stevens Street, but in a tight neighborhood

Kid-friendliness: The restaurant is very family friendly. I often see full families enjoying meals together.

For all those hard-to-find Magyar specialties and ingredients this is where you need to go. “Mark, the owner of Madison Deli, brought this place back from the dead. It had gone through a number of owners, but it seemed no one could keep this place going until Mark took over. The food is great, and the service is phenomenal. Many years ago, this building was a deli with a soda fountain and grill. It had a long counter with stools. You could get a meal or a quick sandwich and a soda from the fountain. It was well known for its ice cream floats and shakes. My mom actually worked there back then, and I, as a child, spent a lot of time there. This place is still one of my favorite places to get breakfast sandwiches. Mark's staff makes great sandwiches and are very fast to serve.“
