“First off the burger was DELICIOUS! I got the el paso burger and I was impressed by how the chipotle mayo actually had some kick. The owner(I believe) is super nice and didn't make me feel rushed. The only reason why it's missing a star is bc I wish the patty was a liiiittle bit bigger. But other than that, the ingredients are clearly fresh. Thank you!“

“Someone recommended I come here and try some of the pre-made specialties. It is a small place, but there is no lack in options. Everything really just looked so good, I picked out a few things for me and my son. I picked up some Chicken francese and chicken Marsala, some marinated artichokes and some seafood salad. All of it, DELICIOUS! I have been a chef for many years so I can be picky and I can tell when places cheap out on ingredients. I did not get that vibe from here. I'm pretty sure I could taste the love. Highly Highly recommended“

“I just moved to the area and Joe’s was recommended as a great place. I had my first burger there last weekend. It was so delicious. It actually was two meals worth. And the person at the counter that waited on me was so very nice. Today’s my birthday and I’m going to treat myself to Joe’s if I get off work in time to come pick it up. “I am Polish-American and this food tastes like my Babci made it. Food was outstanding: Pork Cutlet,Pierogie, Fish,and cucumber salad. Best Bigos ever! Scrumptious deserts. Friendly and efficient staff. I didn't even get a chance to look through all the store had to offer. It was clean and bright. Can't wait to go back there.“

“I went to Subworks recently, and it was great! The staff was super friendly, and the service was quick. They have a lot of sub options, and the portions are really big.
I tried the Buffalo Chicken sub, and it was so tasty! The bread was fresh and crispy, and the meats and veggies were really good. Everything was balanced perfectly, and they didn’t hold back on the ingredients.
The place was clean and comfortable, which made the experience even better. Overall, I think Subworks is a great spot if you want a filling, delicious sub at a good price. I’ll definitely be back!“

“Absolute must stop here whenever I’m passing through. Easily accessible from all major highways. Ildiko keeps this shop neat and tidy and the meats are fresh and taste as you expect. For all those hard-to-find Magyar specialties and ingredients this is where you need to go. Nice selection of prepared meals you can take and heat, as well as handmade kohlbasz and szalami are always tasty. Plenty of free street parking.“

“This post is long overdue. however; over Easter my aunt in NJ sent me two large kielbasas to Illinois (since she knows how much I miss jersey food in general) but kielbasa was always an Easter staple in our house. For whatever reason Joe's had my wrong shipping address and couldn't get ahold of me bc my voicemail was full. One day I saw a post on their page and I liked it. they responded right away... "Lauren Carr call us!! we have your kielbasa and don't have your correct address." The food got sent back to them. The lady I spoke with was super sweet and said she would send us a brand new package. I highly recommend this business. And, the customer service that comes along with it. Thank you Joe's!!! We are highly satisfied customers. Ps... their pierogies are the BEST TOO!!!!! 💗“

My area and out of many choices I had this place caught our attention and we don’t regret going. Had pancakes 🥞, scrambled egg 🍳 and turkey bacon 🥓 and it was delicious 😋. Service was great. “Sol is one of those rare neighborhood restaurants that really brings a community together. Good food, excellent vibes, and wonderful care and service from the owners and staff is reflected in the many smiling faces I see here every morning, evening, and on the weekends when I pass by.
I finally got the chance to stop in for a proper meal (normally I grab a reasonably priced breakfast sandwich and a coffee here while I'm running for the bus) and I was delighted with my experience. The Sol Breakfast Platter hit the spot with a bold, hot cup of coffee! The music and general vibrancy of the room added to my pleasure of the experience. I look forward to coming back again with my wife in the near future to try out more of the delicious sounding items on the menu!
Parking: Free street parking on Livingston Ave or Stevens Street, but in a tight neighborhood
Kid-friendliness: The restaurant is very family friendly. I often see full families enjoying meals together.

“I love going to Park Deli. The sandwiches are always a great size, with so many options to make it your own and get great food. If you don’t mind spending a little bit more for quality lunch/dinner, this is the place to be. They even have seating inside! Highly recommend the chicken parm sub or the lawyers, my go-tos!
