“I can't say enough good things about this place, obviously a waterfront beach bar has an amazing view and cool atmosphere, they're constantly hosting events, live music, which attracts a great crowd as well. And by the way, in my opinion as far as bar food goes they're top tier. Not just burgers and chicken fingers but kabobs and short ribs and things you typically see as bar food. Awesome bar food, get a spot on a couch in front of a fire pit next to the water with live music... hard to beat that”

They were pleasant, professional, and incredibly easy to work with, both on site on via email.The food is amazing: I recommend checking them out for their pulled chicken alone, not to mention of the other great options!I would use them again for a event in a heartbeat!”

“The Proving Ground is a solid choice for eating on the coast of the Jersey shore. The back patio is nice, the seafood fresh and the service was on point. The food, while being ok, just didn't wow me and we ordered lobster rolls, French burger, a shrimp wrap and crab cake sandwich. All ok and edible, just the side of fries were basic and no substitutions were allowed. We skipped alcohol drinks and dessert, but the calamari and the mussels apps were tender and again, super fresh and tasty (albeit a bit tiny compared to other places I've been to). Overall, a nice experience and I'd love to go back for some bar food and a drink on a great day or even try their brunch, but maybe another time.”

“My family wanted indian after apple picking and we couldn’t find a place until I looked up Indian and found them. It said 5 stars and the ratings were not wrong. This restaurant was absolutely amazing. The food was excellent and there were so many choices. All of the food was worth it. I’ve been to many Indian restaurants and this place is in my top 3. The owner is such an amazing, hardworking, and sweet woman. She told us her story about for 20 years she’s wanted to have a restaurant yet she took the time to support and take care of her kids. It was heartwarming. She also told us a story of a father and a daughter who were starving and came to the door after close hoping they didn’t close yet. The chefs left, but she didn’t want them hungry. She still let them in and she cooked dinner for them and didn’t let them pay. It was for free. She expresses how being able to give food is a blessing and the biggest reward is being able to give food for people in need and feeding the people. She deserves this restaurant. Not only is she an amazing woman, but the bigger plus is the food is absolutely amazing. The naan, aloo papri chaat, chicken tikka masala, lamb rogan josh, lamb tikka masala, paneer tikka masala. All of it was amazing and so flavorful. For the spice levels my brother and I got medium and my parents got medium plus and the spice levels were perfect.”
