It's a cozy spot, I usually order for pickup but have enjoyed a meal at the bar counter a few times. This food makes your soul feel good. It's simple, flavorful, and great prices. I always recommend the Flautas (crispy and full of meat), the Tacos de Lengua (so soft and tender), or their Birria Tacos are very good! Great authentic Mexican food. They work very hard preparing excellent takeout. There is a counter with stools if you want to eat. Los Fuertes de Loreto is a gem located on Broadway in Hillsdale.

I wanted to love this place, but the tacos were a bit too soggy for my taste. The flavors were there, just lacking that crunch I was hoping for. I'll definitely give it another shot, though—maybe try the enchiladas next time!
