Ordered a seafood salad on the patio hot summer day. Very refreshing special. Tight timeline getting over to the Hermitage and was accommodated. Nice craft cocktail. Old parts of inn oozing charm.
Seafood appetizer was very good, and we enjoyed it, however our entrees were just good, definitely not great. Once our entrees were provided no one ever came back to ask if we wanted or needed anything else. Disappointing in that I have been passing this restaurant for years and finally decided to give it a try and sadly didn’t love it. Atmosphere was the best thing about the entire experience. I might go back one more time and order something different.
It always feels like home when we return to the Hohokus Inn for a fabulous Saturday night dinner with friends. we are always warmly greeted at the door and treated with white gloves for the entire evening. So glad to see that the lobster roll has made it back for the summer menu as well as the zucchini blossoms and the standard Asian calamari that's always a hit . Junior is the master of ceremonies extraordinaire . there is only one Hohokus Inn that can never be imitated...
